Last Command is a The First Berserker: Khazan bonus mission that requires you to assist Yulian and Adrik. Completing this side objective will unlock the Desperate Escape trophy. Let’s see what you must do to free the prisoners!
How to Start Last Command
Progress through the story and complete the Inconceivable Truth main mission to unlock the bonus mission Escaping Linon Mine. The Last Command begins automatically after you complete Escaping Linon Mine.
After rescuing Adrick, you learn that more prisoners are inside the mine. Your job is to help them escape.
How to Complete Last Command
To finish the mission, you need to rescue four prisoners and defeat the boss at the end. While working on this task, you can obtain one Soulstone and one Jarling.
How to Free the Prisoners
Prisoner 1
From the Death Row Prisoners’ Camp Blade Nexus, go down the stairs and descend using the ladder. Make a left, defeat the enemies on the bridge, and find the prisoner at the other end of the bridge in a cage.
Prisoner 2
Return to the ladder and continue straight. Make a right to enter the building and follow the stairs down to collect a Soul Tearstone Shard. Exit the building and make a left. Enter the next building, defeat the enemy inside, exit, make a right, and collect the Poison Spirit’s Fuel from the back of the building. Return to the stairs in front of the building and continue straight to reach the second prisoner.
Prisoner 3
Defeat the two enemies at the base of the big stairs and notice the porch of the building on the right. That’s where you will find the third prisoner.
Prisoner 4
Go up the big stairs and make a left to release the last prisoner.
How to Obtain the Collectibles
Jarling
The Jarling is behind the second prisoner’s cage.
Soulstone
From the Jarling’s location, look around and notice the Soulstone.
How to Defeat Sergei
After freeing the prisoners and obtaining the collectibles, go to the Execution Ground Blade Nexus. Push open the double doors and witness the cutscene to start the encounter. You will fight two adds before Sergei shows up.
Sergei uses the following moves:
- Thrust Attack. Sergei uses the spear to do a single or double thrust. Move to the sides to avoid or parry the attack.
- Shield Bash. The boss uses his shield for a bash attack. Pay attention to the spear swing that precedes this attack so you know when to dodge.
- Shield Slam. The boss uses the shield for an AOE attack. Roll when the boss raises the shield.
Dodge Sergei’s attacks and notice that the boss pauses between attacks. That’s when you should hit him. The mission will end after the boss is down. Talk to Yulian and Adrick to receive the Great General’s Helm.
