The First Berserker: Khazan – Tears of the Soul Trophy

The First Berserker: Khazan has a total of 58 achievements and trophies you are able to get in this hardcore action role playing game. One of those achievements is the Tears of the Soul Trophy. It does require you to die, which you will likely be doing a lot anyway. This is basically a mechanics based accomplishment that you will likely unlock just through normal play.

Embracing Death AKA How to Complete Tears of the Soul Trophy!

This is a pretty easy trophy to get. It requires you to go grab your lacrima from the very spot you died. Yes, you have to die in order to get this trophy but in the game’s defence you’ll be experiencing this quite often so there is plenty of opportunity to get this trophy.

So be like a ghost, die, and go get your Lacrima in the spot you dropped it. Do try not to die again in the process. Otherwise, just like in the Souls titles, you have a chance of losing your original accumulated resources. Meaning you will have a new location to collect it. It doesn’t really matter where or how you die as your resources will drop wherever you happen to land.

Even if you don’t want to turn around and get the trophy, you’ll want to consider getting the lacrima you dropped. It’s a key resource in the game that lets you level up your in-game stats.

For example, endurance, strength, willpower, proficiency, and vitality are all stats you’ll be able to level up by using Lacrima. Dying and being forced to return to the location where you once died to get it can be a pain but at least you will get a trophy out of it. Sometimes, it is worth dying.

As mentioned all of this will be very familiar to hardcore fans of the Demon and Dark Souls related titles. Nothing new, right?
