The Godai Shinobi is an Assassins Creed Shadows side quest that requires you to assassinate five targets. Let’s see what you must do to complete the mission!
How to Start The Godai Shinobi
There are two ways to start this side quest. The first option is to travel to Sakamoto and the quest prompt will let you know you can start this mission. The second option is to kill Akechi Kagemitsu, as part of the main story, and unlock the interaction with the quest giver, Shotei.
Start the quest in any way you like. However, one of the targets becomes available only after you defeat Akechi Kagemitsu, so keep that in mind.
How to Complete The Godai Shinobi
You can play with any character you like. Opt for Naoe if you want a sneaky approach or Yasuke if you want to test your battle skills. You can tackle the five targets in any order you wish.
Where to Find the Five Godai
Godai of Water
The Godai of Water is in Mangetsuji Temple in Mount Hiei, Omi. You will find the target sitting on a rock overlooking the water. You can approach her from behind and quickly assassinate her.
Godai of Fire
Take the Hiei Foothill travel point and make your way north to find the Godai of Fire. If you are playing with Yasuke, make sure to parry his attacks. A high-level Naoe can assassinate him in one shot.
Godai of Wind
You will find this target in the Shimagahara Valley in Otogi Pass, Omi. You can perform a drop down attack on her. If you choose to engage the target, keep in mind that she uses smoke bombs. Don’t forget to loot the chest for the Masked Death legendary Katana.
Godai of Earth
Make your way to the Otaniinari Shrine in Hijiyama, Iga to find this target. If you cannot kill the target in one hit, pay attention to his leap attack when fighting.
Godai of Void
Travel to the Daikichiji Temple in Goshiki Outlands, Omi. Take the path behind the temple and enter the cave. The Godai of Void will ambush you, so you cannot assassinate him.
After all the targets are dead, return to Shotei to collect the Soaring Tatsu legendary trinket as a reward and end the quest.
