Wuchang Fallen Feathers Boatman is an NPC involved in a series of optional missions. Completing his quest line rewards you with Li Jiao’s Fang, one of the 24 weapons needed to unlock the Legendary Collector trophy. Let’s see where you can find him!

Worship’s Rise Locations
Reverent Temple
From the shrine, go down the stairs and make a right into the courtyard to meet the Boatman for the first time. Talk to him and start the combat tutorial, where you face a few enemies and Bai Kru. You don’t have to defeat the boss to advance, but if you do, you get five Red Mercury Essences.
Tang Palace Mystery Gate
The second interaction requires you to find the first Mystery Gate, the one before the Tang Palace Maid boss. Choose the “Feathered transcendence” answer and you will be teleported to an area where you meet the Boatman. However, choosing this answer locks you out of the Sage trophy.

Ferry Overlook
From the shrine, go left and follow the path leading to the docks. The NPC is on the right. Interact with him and then use the boat at the end of the pier to go to the Bai Mansion, where you fight the Monstrous Toddler – Bai Kru boss. Return to the Boatman at the Ferry Overlook and obtain the unique weapon Li Jiao’s Fang.
Worship’s Rise in Ruins and the Bo Capital Locations
Palace Pass
Defeat the Vermilion Feathers – Honglan boss and interact with the door to access the NPC’s location. Speak to him and receive a Blood of Changdong item.
Depths of the Capital Mystery Gate
Activate the Mystery Gate near the shrine and choose “The grand dream fades” correct answer. Head inside and find the NPC. The reward he gives you depends on your previous answers:
- If you chose the correct answer for the other two doors, you get a Lustrous Red Feather.
- If you didn’t choose the correct answers, but completed all Boatman interactions, you get the Benediction Ren – Blood Vigor.
