Wuchang Fallen Feathers boss battle featuring Eternal Glory Zhao Yun is an entirely optional boss so you can skip it if you want! But if your anything like us, you’ll want to engage him in a fight to get those sweet rewards. Which includes the Shu Army Board, Echo of Zhao Yun, Cyan Feather Chisel, and the Loyalty Armor Set
Where to Find Eternal Glory in Wuchang Fallen Feathers

If your planning on fighting Zhao Yun then you need to finish the White Robed Elder’s questline. It ends in the Tomb in the Avian Dwelling. Talk to him there and what you need to do is return to the Tomb after you’ve entered the Bo Capital. You do this before you’ve beaten the final boss.
How to Defeat Eternal Glory

Now that you know where to find him, it’s time to fight! Make sure to have your defenses up as Zhao Yun has a lot of slash and stab moves. He is also very fast, able to deal fire and frostbite damage. With an ability to deflect, he doesn’t have many weaknesses. His biggest weakness is weak posture so you can fill his stagger meter quickly.
Phase 1
Here are the moves during phase one of the fight.
- Running Stab is when he charges towards you and stabs with follow up moves. Deflect the stabs.
- Whirlwind Spins is when the boss uses these fast, wide spear spins you need to deflect or dodge.
- Turnstile Strikes see’s the boss creating these rapid front spear spins before finally slamming. Deflect the final slam.
- Aerial Bulwark is when the boss takes a defensive stand, deflects attacks, and counters. Either back off or use ranged attacks to bait it.
- Impaling Leap Jumps up and grabs, with a follow up flurry of attacks. Dodge and stay close for the follow up.
- Stab and Slash Flurry is when there is a quick stab with the weapon, followed with a slash after a dodge. Deflect.
- Firefall Leap is when he jumps and lands with fire rain and a flurry. Dodge and prepare for a second attack.
- Spear Slam is when he creates a big slam, causing high damage and a knockback. Dodge and then attack.
- Ground Uplift is when he stabs the ground. Dodge and attack.
- Icicle Cascade sees ice spreading out towards you in waves. Stay close to avoid the waves and counter during downtime.
Phase 2
This phase includes all the moves from the first phase with a few more added in!
- Spectral Double is when he creates a clown that does whirlwind spins. Dodge the first spin and move away.
- Wind Waves sends wind slashes from his sword towards you. Get behind him if you can and attack when he is standing still.
- Sword Unveiling sends a strong wind blast towards you when the sword is being unsheathed. Stay back until the attack is over.
- Sword Stab and Wind Repulse is when there is a quick stab followed by a large wind blast. Dodge after the stab.
Overall, Zhao Yun is going to counter with Aerial Bulwark a lot. You can deflect, not rush in, and try to use Echo of the Bo Magus to absorb attacks. Dodging is a must! In phase two the aggressiveness is worse with a Spectral Double being thrown in. Just keep an eye out for stagger openings.
Rewards include a Shu Army Board, Echo of Zhao Yun, Cyan Feather Chisel, and the Loyalty Armor Set if you return to the tomb after the fight and worship at the gravestone.
