Where to Find the Feathered Priest in Wuchang Fallen Feathers

The Feathered Priest or Lu Bingzhang is a boss that is one of the easier ones to find. It can be found in the main temple in Shu Sanctum on the top floor. Go past the elderly woman and then go up the next set of stairs that can be found around the corner.

You’ll come across a locked door, go ahead and interact with it so you can go forward and forth the Feathered Priest.

How to Defeat the Feathered Priest

Before fighting the Feathered Priest, keep in mind that some of its attacks deal corruption damage. Purple Camellia can help with that or use armor that is resistant to corruption damage. His biggest weakness is probably that he isn’t very agile and spends a lot of time recovering after he attacks you. This gives you a chance to attack and counter!

Defeating the Feathered Priest in Wuchang Fallen Feathers

Here are some of the moves the Feathered Priest will throw at you.

  • Spear Slam is Bingzhang’s strongest move: he leaps into the air, throws a red spear, then slams down hard. Dodge when the fear flashes red
  • Staff Slam is similar to the Spear Slam, Bingzhang flies up and dives at you with his staff. Once the staff flashes purple dodge.
  • Overhead Strike is a slow attack where Bingzhang raises his staff overhead and strikes, often followed by a spin or combo. Dodge in any direction to avoid.
  • Spin is a fast 360 spin with little warning, usually followed by an Overhead Strike or another move.
  • Aerial Magic is when Bingzhang floats sideways, firing purple fireballs that build Corruption if they hit. Dodge to the right and make sure you follow the movement to dodge successfully.
  • Grab is when Bingzhang pulls back his glowing right arm, then immediately lunges at you. Once you see his arm glow and hear the musical sting, dodge.
  • Corruption Puddles is when Bingzhang slams his staff down, creating Corruption puddles under you—either two or seven, depending on the variation. Run right and dodge once he strikes the ground.

Rewards include Shu Sanctum Key, Wei Vitality Ferocity, Preist’s Broken Cane, and Echo of Lu Bingzhang Feathering Spell. There is also red mercury but this is a given!
