Wuchang Fallen Feathers - How to Defeat Gluttonous Monstrosity

Wuchang Fallen Feathers has it’s share of boss fights with many of them being on the difficult side. In this article, we’re going to discuss the Gluttonous Monstrosity. First, you’ll find out where to find it and, most importantly, how to defeat it!

Where to Find the Gluttonous Monstrosity in Wuchang Fallen Feathers

To find the Gluttonous Monstrosity boss, otherwise known as Lu Hongliu, you need to head towards the Shu Sanctum. From the sanctum, you will need to go down the steps and take a right to cross over an invisible bridge. From there, you will want to find and head along a balcony at the house nearby, going forward until reaching a fork in the road.

From there turn and take the right path and follow the steps up. There will be another pass which you need to follow. There will be enemies along the way, one in particular being a cannon wielding enemy. Go to the right and then climb a ladder, going on the rooftops.

You will, eventually, find another ladder, located on the far side nearby the fire breathing fake dancer enemy. Climb down, heading up the left set of steps. Continue to follow the path and then you will come across some steps, which lead up to a set of closed doors. In order to begin this fight, you will need to interact with these doors.

How to Defeat Gluttonous Monstrosity

Fighting the Gluttonous Monstrosity in Wuchang Fallen Feathers

Lu Hongliu or the Gluttonous Monstrosity is a difficult fight thanks to her fast and aggressive movements. Dodging and blocking is going to be very useful here! There are two phases for this boss. Faster paced weapons that don’t slow you down will be best here.

Even though blocking can be useful, dodging is still the best way to defeat the enemy. Time them right before the attack strikes, following with a quick attack of your own. Also make sure to have an item that can take care of corruption if you are hit with one of her corruption based moves.

Phase 1

Here are the moves for the first phase.

Charge Attack is when Lu Hongliu reels back and charges across the battlefield. Move out of the way when you see her coming.
Leap is when she leaps across the battlefield to land on top of you. Time your dodge!
Standing Claw Attack sees her standing up and swiping claws at you. Again, make sure to time your dodges before she swipes.
Corruption Spew sees her tilting her head back and spewing blood everywhere. Just make sure your not in range.
Bite is when she tries to grapple you and then bite! Dodge because this is a dangerous attack.

Phase 2

Now onto the second phase moves!

Jump is when she jumps into the air so make sure you dodge with a step to the side.
Extended Corrpution Spew is similar to the corruption spew but the range is alot longer. Make sure to back up even more!
Standing Double TIme Claws is similar to the standing claw attack but the attacks last for double the amount of time!

The reward for defeating Lu Hongliu is 3000 Red Mercury, the Trinity Bell Item, 1 White Jade Dumpling, the Jade Cicada Item, and the Echo of Lu Hongliu Spell.
