Blue Prince Upgrade Disks are items that change a room’s behaviour or add extra functionality. You can find 16 upgrades from puzzle solving and exploration. Let’s see what you need to do to collect them all!
Where to Find All Blue Prince Upgrade Disks
Keep in mind that, sometimes, an Upgrade Disk will not spawn in a past location. For example I managed to find one near the basement door elevator. Which never seemed to respawn after. However, to increase your chances of finding them you are best to create the various essential rooms instead.
| Room | How to Obtain |
| Trading Post | Unlock the secret room by igniting the dynamite and find the disk on a barrel. |
| Trading Post | Trade Showroom items. |
| Office | Collect it from the desk. |
| Great Hall | Search behind the locked doors. |
| Morning Room | Next to the jars on the counter. |
| Commissary | Buy it. |
| Freezer | Collect it from the wooden crate after melting the ice blocking the doorway. |
| Garage | Collect it from the trunk of the car. You need the Car Keys. |
| Tomb | Unlock the secret room by lighting the candles. |
| Foundation | Go to the lower floor and collect it from a box. |
| Archive | Open the cabinet with the Patio File Cabinet Key. |
| Her Ladyship’s Chamber | Near the Diary of Lady Epsen. |
| Vault | Open the locker with Vault Key 304. |
| Abandoned Mine | Collect it from the Torch Chamber. |
| Lost and Found | Collect it from the table. |
| Mechanarium | Collect it from one of the rooms. |
How to Change Room Upgrades
You might have noticed that the disk description states that room upgrades are permanent. There’s a little trick that lets you change a random room and you can do that only if all the rooms are already upgraded. The first step is to obtain some expensive items from the Showroom or Lost and Found. Then, draft the Trading Post and trade these items.
Most of the times, you will get an Allowance Token, but you can also get an Upgrade Disk. Use the disk at the terminal and the game will randomly select one of the already upgraded rooms for you to change. The room selection is always random, but you have the freedom to choose a new upgrade
