Ono Puncho is a Gestral in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 that challenges you to deal 9999 damage in one hit. While this feels like a trophy-worthy feat, the only reward you get is a cosmetic item. Let’s see what you need to do to complete the challenge!
How to Start the Ono Puncho Challenge In Clair Obscur Expedition 33
From the Chief’s House in the Gestral Village, take the northwestern path leading to the Arena. Go east and spot Ono Puncho at the end of the path.
To complete the challenge, you must deal 9999 damage with one character in one shot. Your teammates cannot use skills, attacks, or free aim shots. The character that does the damage can use free aim shots. Ono Puncho doesn’t attack you. You can take advantage of this by skipping turns to power up your shot.
How to Complete the Challenge
You can perform this feat with Maelle. The best weapon is the Medalum, but you can still do that much damage even if you don’t have it. The Medalum is a reward for completing the Arena Tournament with Maelle. You can wait until you have this weapon or try with any other weapon that has around 250 Power.
Use the following Lumina for Maelle:
- Burning Shots.
- Marking Shots.
- Critical Burn.
- Roulette.
The two other teammates should have the First Strike Lumina. Also, Maelle’s turn to attack should come last, so make sure their Agility is higher than hers.
How to Deal 9999 in One Hit
Buff Maelle with Gustave’s Powerful skill. Use Lune’s Energy Tint on Maelle. You can skip this step if Maelle is wielding the Medalum. Use Maelle’s free aim shot until Ono Puncho gets Mark. Use Maelle’s Percee skill and deal damage.
Hopefully, you’ll achieve the desired number and complete the task. If your number is a bit lower, you should level up the weapon and boost Maelle’s attributes before trying again. The reward for hitting Ono Puncho with 9999 damage is the Sakapatate Outfit.
