There are several locations the characters end up visiting during Act One of Clair Obscur Expedition 33. One of those places is the Gestral Village. A side quest you get a chance to complete during your visit here is Help Alexsoundro. Which tasks us with rescuing a Patate. It’s completely optional but think of the rewards!

Where to Find Alexsoundro In Clair Obscur Expedition 33
The Gestral Village can be a bit of a maze, so finding Alexsoundro might be a bit difficult at first. Lucky for you, we have a surefire way to find him. First find the Gestral Bazar. It’s right next to the Chief’s House. Simply follow the signs by the main entrance.
Bypass the bazar and you should see a very tall Gestral, standing next to a white pillar. Approach and he asks for help. He requires someone to find his patate who has climbed onto on to the top of this said pillar and can’t find a way down. At least not a safe way down. That is where we come in!
How to Help Alexsoundro – Reach Patate
Recall, that finding your way around the village can be a bit of a headache. To get to the area where the patate is, you’ll need to do a bit of maneuvering. Find the Arena sign as pictured above. Keep going straight until you come to a crossroads. Take a right and follow the path until you see a rope.
Climb the rope! The next part is pretty easy to follow. Go to the end of the wooden bridge and grapple. Continue up the next bridge path and use the handholds on the wall. Once your on the other side, climb up a slight ledge and move towards the end of the path.
You will see the patate on a ledge!
Make sure to take a running leap. If you don’t, you won’t make the jump and you’ll have to start all over again. If you do make it to the small ledge, talk to the Purumi. After he agrees to go reunite with Alexsoundro, you get a Sakapatate Outfit for Lune!
