Clair Obscur Expedition 33 has a bunch of side quests, some that are unique to specific characters in the party. The Reacher is a side quest for Maelle that you are able to complete once you go ahead and get her friendship and bonding level up to 5. She will want to visit Alicia

How to Find The Reacher in Clair Obscur
The Reacher is an area your going to be able to access in Act III. After Esquie learns the ability to fly and once you have a conversation with Maelle, upon reaching relationship level 5 then you can go ahead and go to this area. This area ties into Maelle’s personal quest where you’ll have to seek out Canvas Alicia.
The Reacher is west of the Visages but remember you need to fly on Esquie to be able to get to this place.
Once inside, simply follow the rather linear area. Taking the unique wooden platform lifts. Your objective is to reach the top of this large tower structure
Make sure you are around level 75-80 before accepting this challenge. You will first be facing against enemy targets, such as the Orphelin, which are not too threatening. They can, however, inflict the ‘Blight’ status. Which can reduce a character’s max health by 10%
You will know when you have successfully managed to reach the top, when you reach the Foggy Area, which, then, leads to The Peak. Triggering our encounter with Alicia
Fighting Alicia in Expedition 33
The main point of entering The Reacher is to go and meet up with Alicia which is apart of Malle’s side quest. There is another optional boss called the Chromatic Braseleur if you feel up to engaging in some more fights. To get to Alicia, follow the path and go to the top. This is where you’ll find Alicia seemingly waiting for you.
Keep in mind that this fight is one where you can only use Maelle. No one else in the party can help with this so make sure Maelle is ready to take on this fight!

Rewards From The Reacher in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
Once you defeat Alicia, hopefully following our guide, Maelle will get a level 21 Lithum weapon that she is able to use. In addition, she gets a Painted Me hairstyle that resumbles Alicia! Throw in some upgrade materials and your making bank with the rewards from this optional fight. You can, now, also continue your bonding with Maelle. Reaching level 7 which is the max level bonding
