Code Vein 2 Save Holly or Timeline Shift Decision Holly is an important quest. In addition to being a requirement for the secret ending, it is also a prerequisite to save Josee.

Code Vein 2 Save Holly Guide
The Timeline Shift Decision Holly quest begins after you obtain Holly’s fading bond. Follow the main story to reach the Undead Forest. During this part of the main quest, you will visit two hot springs. Keep in mind that you need to revisit these Code Vein 2 hot spring locations outside the story to make progress towards the Master Bather trophy. Defeat Hero Holly the Reaper to obtain her fading bond. It isn’t strong enough to follow, so you must find a way to repair it.
How to Activate Holly’s Fading Bond
Interact with Monica in the Withered Greenhouse. Your next objective is to collect Camilo’s remnants. These are found in two Undead Forest locations, the Ruined Town and the Sanatorium.
Travel to these locations and defeat the elite enemies to obtain Camilo’s remnants. After obtaining each remnant, a cutscene featuring Camilo will play. Take your time to explore both areas for chests, if this is your first visit. You can also find a map jammer next to the elite enemy in the Sanatorium. After collecting both remnants, return to the Withered Greenhouse and interact with Holly’s fading bond.
Something unplanned happens and you have to face a challenging boss, the Retainer of Idris. Defeat the boss, collect Idris’s Talon, and now you can travel back in time and save Holly.
How to Save Holly in Code Vein 2
Go to the Sanatorium and interact with Holly. Complete the next sequence with Holly and prepare for another challenging boss fight. The Inner Depths Mistle is the checkpoint before fighting Camilo Asturias.
Defeating this boss will unlock the Family Man trophy. Witness the cutscene after the boss fight and return to the restored Sanatorium to unlock the Life in Bloom trophy. Don’t forget to collect Lise’s Hair Ornament from the reception desk. The item spawns here after you complete Slay the Hero Josee main quest. Lise’s hairpin is the item that allows you to follow Josee’s fading bond and save Josee.
When you are ready to face Holly, talk to Camilo, and interact with the cocoon outside. Defeat the Hero Holly boss to earn the Warn Rays trophy and complete the Code Vein 2 Save Holly quest.
