Code Vein 2 Save Noah or Timeline Shift Decision Noah is an early quest that allows you to travel back in time and prevent Noah’s death. It’s an optional mission with several consequences.

Code Vein 2 Save Noah Guide
Early into the game, after the tutorial section, players have the option to continue the adventure in the present or go back in time and save Noah. The game doesn’t tell you that this key decision will affect the availability of several weapons, trophies, blood codes, and the secret Code Vein 2 ending.
How to Follow Noah’s Bond
During the last quest on MagMell Island, you will arrive at the Forma Storage Tower. After the cutscene, you return to the present. At this point, the game presents you with two options:
- Return to the past and rescue Noah.
- Continue the adventure in the present.
To return to MagMell in the past, interact with the time rift and follow Noah’s bond. You will immediately obtain Idris’s Conceit battle axe and the Guardian’s Heart blood code. Call the elevator, descend, and turn left after exiting the elevator. Go down the stairs and interact with the fog screen to enter a boss arena. Your next objective is to defeat Franz, the Dejected Assailant.
It’s a pretty tough fight with two phases. In Phase 1, the boss uses three attack patterns. Wait for the attacks to end and hit the boss while he recovers. In Phase 2, the boss gains one more attack, however the strategy remains the same: dodge or avoid the attacks and hit him afterwards. The Code Vein 2 Save Noah quest is completed once Franz is down. As a reward for defeating Franz, you unlock Superbia Bloodline: Franz blood code and receive the Shield of Stupor.
Should You Save Noah or Not in Code Vein 2
Yes, saving Noah allows you to complete his requests later on and obtain three Code Vein 2 engraved weapons. On top of that, the Timeline Shift Decision Noah quest is one of the four requirements for the Miraculous Bonds ending. Completing this quest unlocks A Bridge to the Future trophy. Defeating Franz the Dejected Assailant unlocks A Friend’s Wish trophy. As you can see, the Code Vein 2 Save Noah quest is a worthwhile endeavor.
