One of the trickier enemies in Nioh 3 is the Bloodedge Demon. Once you track down this enemy (which is tricky enough), you’ll have a bit of a difficult fight on your hands.
Where to Find the Bloodedge Demon
The Bloodedge Demon in Nioh 3 isn’t an enemy you just stumble across. You actually have to go looking for it. It can spawn at different locations, and the only way to track it down is to find the Bloody Graves. At these graves you will be tasked with beating the Revenant.
From there, go to your map. You’ll see a red arrow, which will lead you in the direction of where the malicious energy from the Reveant has gone. This is a process you will have to keep repeating until you are notified that you have defeated all the Revenants.
After you get this message, there will be a purple spire where the Bloodedge demon will appear. Approach to start the fight.
How to Defeat Bloodedge Demon in Nioh 3
This enemy is very formidable with its elemental and melee attacks that are equally as fast. Fighting as a ninja is the best way because of how quick and stealthy it is. While you can fight as a Samurai, fighting as a ninja gives you the speed you’ll need for this fight.
Here are some general tips on how to come out as the victor.
- Use your classic Ninja weapons such as kunai, bombs, and shuriken. This lets you fight from a distance.
- Practice the art of the dodge. With this enemy, you want to dodge and forget blocking. Thankfully, the Ninja is speedy, so you’ll have no trouble zipping around the battlefield.
- A good method to use is to attack when the enemy is recovering. Hit the creature and then run away.
- Whenever the Bloodedge Demon unleashes a red attack, use a burst break to counter the attack.
- After the Bloodedge demon is out of Ki, attack, attack, attack!
- Take advantage of Stop Talismans. This can help lessen the damage from the creature’s magic attacks.
As long as you keep your distance and attack, only approaching during critical moments, then you’ll take down this enemy in no time.
