There are 28 total achievements or trophies in Doom the Dark Ages. Some of them are easier than others will all of them being impossible to miss so at least there is that! One of the easier ones to get is the Gimme That trophy. Which requires us to unlock the Ballistic Force Crossbow

How To Unlock The Ballistic Force Crossbow in Doom The Dark Ages

The Gimme That trophy achievement, as previously stated, is an easy trophy to get. All you have to do is continue through the game and you’ll get it because it’s an automatic story related trophy. It literally can’t be missed. During Chapter 14: Spire of Nerathul you will come across an amazing looking crossbow called the Ballistic Force Crossbow. Pick it up.

What happens next? Well you’ve automatically gotten this trophy! It’s an easy trophy that lets you get access to a really awesome weapon. Who doesn’t love crossbows?

Weapon With Great Potential

The Ballistic Force Crossbow can be considered one of the best weapons in the game. Shoot it and you can destroy a whole batch of demons at once. Don’t believe us? Well, try it out and you’ll see how many demons it can take out all at once.

However, there are two drawbacks to this weapon because there are always drawbacks with something as powerful as this.

First, the ammo needs to be found around the world rather than being replenished. Second, you can’t access your shield when your using the Force Crossbow. After you put your gun away you can regain access to the shield but not until then.

But for such a powerful, awesome weapon it’s almost worth the risk, right? We think so at least. In the end, it’s up to you to decide what weapon to use.
