Echoes Of Aincrad Unlock Transmog - The Opportunity Side Quest

Echoes of Aincrad gives you ability to unlock transmog which will enable you to unlock equipment and costumes. Unfortunately, you do need to unlock this ability before you get it in the form of a side quest called The Opportunity. Complete the quest and you’ll be able to change out your equipment!

How to Unlock Transmog in Echoes of Aincrad

The quest itself is available once your main quest objective triggers: Leave for Tolbana. In the Town of Beginnings, look for a red headed NPC that is near the Item Seller. She tells you that she is in a bind. When you inquire what is going on, she’ll tell you she needs you to help her procure some supplies.

It’s in your best interest to agree to help.

Head to the diamond yellow marker on the map. If you can, fast travel to the Esta Road checkpoint which can shave some time off your travel. Once you get close to the spot on the map, you’ll be drawn into a boss fight.

To complete the quest and unlock transmog in Echoes of Aincrad you need to battle a Glenspore Grizzly. The fight with this boss is pretty easy. It can cause burn damage so be wary of that. You and your partner shouldn’t have too much trouble taking him down as long as your mindful of the burn damage and avoid it’s grab attack.

Once the boss is defeated, grab the Rainbow Gallbladder. This is the item you need to take back to the NPC who gave you the quest in the first place. Interact with her and you’ll get the ability to change costumes.

You can, now, use and take advantage of transmog. Which will allow you to change the colours of your chosen outfits.. You can do this by inspecting the Chest in your room and selecting the ‘Equipment/Costume’ option
