Completing the Father and Son in the Stars trophy achievement in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora isn’t exactly a walk in the park. For one, there are more collectibles to find than with other achievements such as Tethered Kites. And beyond this, actually collecting each Treasure Hunt Comic is pretty complicated. Luckily, there are a few tricks to make this achievement much easier to unlock, and in this article, we’ll walk you through how to complete Father and Son in the Stars step-by-step.

Collect All Treasure Hunt Comics
In order to complete Father and Son in the Stars, you need to collect all treasure hunt comics. Currently, there are 11 to find, and they are dotted in every corner of the map.
After collecting all 11 treasure Hunt Comics, you will be rewarded with the Father and Son in the Stars trophy achievement, alongside 36 points or a silver trophy depending on the console you play on. You’ll also complete the Finding Home side quest as a result.
How To Collect Treasure Hunt Comics
Collecting a Treasure Hunt Comics is a lot more complex than other collectibles like Kites. Instead of just going to a specific location and finding the collectible, you’ll actually have to go on a bit of a Treasure Hunt, as the name suggests!
The first step is finding a computer terminal. Once you find a terminal, you’ll be given a few clues as to the location of a comic. Successfully deciphering the clues will lead you to a trailer containing one of the treasure hunt comics.
Once you successfully complete 10 treasure hunts, you’ll automatically start the 11th and final one. This comic is hidden behind a secret door that will only unlock after you collect the other comics.
It’s worth noting that each terminal only gives you the clue to one comic. As such, there are 10 different terminals to find before you can complete Father and Son in the Stars. It’s also important to remember that the comic will only spawn if you activate the corresponding terminal. This means that you can’t just cheat and skip out the first part of the treasure hunt.
Locations for Father and Son in the Stars
Below are the locations of all eleven terminals and their corresponding comics you need to collect to complete Father and Son in the Stars.
Father and Son in the Stars Locations 1-5
First Treasure Hunt:
- Terminal. Northwest of the Cocoon Hills.
- Comic. On the small patch of land between the Shallow Creek and Tangled Stream, east of the Scout’s Mistake.
Second Treasure Hunt:
- Terminal. A few hundred meters north of the first comic’s location. It’s right underneath the nearby enemy camp.
- Comic. Just off the Mentor’s River, West of the Woodsprite Arches.
Third Treasure Hunt:
- Terminal. Found near the Splintering Rapids in Eywa’s Reach.
- Comic. Located on a rock between Pa’li Falls and the Great Tusk.
Fourth Treasure Hunt:
- Terminal. On the Western border of Kinglor Forest, between the three nearby enemy camps.
- Comic. Found in the Cradline Pines region, on the mountain north of the Warrior’s Plunge. This is one of the trickier locations to access when completing Father and Son in the Stars.
Fifth Treasure Hunt:
- Terminal. Located on the westward path from the Warrior’s Plunge.
- Comic. Found next to the Eye of the River of Ancestors.
Father and Son in the Stars Locations 6-10
Sixth Treasure Hunt:
- Terminal. Located West of Soruku Falls and East of the Twin Ravine.
- Comic. Found just below the Sister’s Steps, on the bank of the Crooked River.
Seventh Treasure Hunt:
- Terminal. Found where the River of Ancestors and Grant Giant’s Waterfall meet.
- Comic. Found on one of the plateaus at the Leaning Pillar Valley.
Eighth Treasure Hunt:
- Terminal. Found next to the Tangled Heart in the Crimson Wood Region.
- Comic. Located just West of where the Stealth River and Shrewed River meet.
Ninth Treasure Hunt:
- Terminal. Located on the Western Border of the Shattered Bridge, next to the widest part of the Twisting Pillar River.
- Comic. Located at the northernmost point of the Shattered Bridge region. It’s one of the easier locations to find when completing Father and Son in the Stars.
Tenth Treasure Hunt:
- Terminal. Located in the Mother of Rivers, where the Daughter’s Stream splits in two.
- Comic. Located on the small mountain just East of Ensnored Lake.
Final Treasure Hunt
The final Treasure Hunt Comic needed to complete Father and Son in the Stars is unlocked when you complete the first ten hunts. From here, you’ll unlock the Finding Home side quest. Follow the instructions, and it will lead you to the last Treasure Hunt Comic.
