Tune All Aeolian Wind Flutes
To complete In Harmony, you must tune all Aeolian Wind Flutes. These flutes are absolutely huge structures and can be found dotted all over the map.
In total, there are 17 flutes across the map, and you need to tune all of them to complete In Harmony. However, four of these are actually tied to one of the story missions. You’ll find the other 13 during free-roam.
In Harmony can be completed at any time. So you don’t need to worry about missing it. However, you do need to make your way to quest 18 before you can start tuning each flute.
After completing In Harmony, you will be rewarded with 36 points (Xbox) or a silver trophy (PlayStation). You need to unlock this achievement if you’re looking to 100% complete Avatar Frontiers of Pandora.

How to Tune a Wind Flute
Tuning each wind flute is actually the easiest part of In Harmony. To tune a flute, you just need to walk up to it and interact with it when you get close enough. Your character will then tune the flute automatically, and just like that, you’ll be one step closer to finishing In Harmony!
You can see which flutes you’ve tuned by looking at the map. Tuned flutes will appear green, whereas untuned ones will appear purple or blue, depending on how close you get to it. This can help you to track your progress.
Wind Flute Locations for In Harmony
There are 17 wind flutes across Pandora. You need to tune all of them to complete In Harmony.
Story-Tied Flutes
Several flutes are tied to ‘The Weeping Gorge’ quest. During this quest, you’ll be directed to tune four of the flutes by an NPC named Sosul. This basically acts as a tutorial for how to tune the remaining flutes in the open world.
This is the 18th main quest in the game and will require about 10-15 hours of playtime to reach. So, if you’re just starting out, you may want to focus on another achievement like Data Retriever, as you won’t be able to complete In Harmony until reaching this point in the story.
Open-World Flute Locations For In Harmony
You’ll find the next 13 flutes during your free-roam adventures. As you explore the world, the locations will appear on your map. However, if you haven’t fully explored the map, you won’t be able to find them easily.
As such, here are the rough locations of each Aeolian Wind Flute. Traveling to these locations should get the exact spot to appear on your map:
- Wind Flute Five. Located on the Southern Side of Eywa’s Reach.
- Wind Flute Six. Located in the rocky section of the Step’s Cradle Region.
- Wind Flute Seven. Located on the Western border of the Celebration Balley region, between the two enemy camps.
- Wind Flute Eight. Located south of the previous flute. To complete In Harmony efficiently, it’s a good idea to tune this flute right after you tune flute seven.
- Wind Flute Nine. Located right next to the Horsehead Plateau in The Celebration Valley.
- Wind Flute Ten. Located at the foot of the Great Tusk in the Celebration Valley. This one can be pretty tough to get to. But if you go straight north from the Celebration Arches, you should find it pretty quickly.
- Wind Flute Eleven. Located on the other side of the Great Tusk. It’s right on the bank of the stream.
- Wind Flute Twelve. The next flute for In Harmony is located in the Western Area of the Shattered Bridge.
- Wind Flute Thirteen. Located next to the Weeping Gorge.
- Wind Flute Fourteen. Located on the rock in the Greatheart Lake in the Mother of Rivers region.
- Wind Flute Fifteen. Located on the southern bank of the Greatheart Lake.
- Wind Flute Sixteen. Located next to the Wing Mountain.
- Wind Flute Seventeen. Found on the other side of the Wing Mountain.
