Follow all the Bladewing Moths to Their Nests

To complete Fleet-Footed, you must follow all the Bladewing Moths to Their Nests. For most people, this description actually raises more questions than it answers!

The first thing that you need to know is what Bladewing Moths actually are. Essentially, these are tiny little creatures that you will find across Pandora. Contrary to what you might think, they’re completely harmless.

To complete Fleet-Footed, you need to follow these moths to their nests. There are 11 nests to find in total. Luckily, none are missable and can be found at any time.

Completing Fleet-Footed will earn you a silver trophy or 36 points, depending on the console that you play on.

How To Complete Fleet-Footed

The process for completing Fleet-Footed is actually pretty straightforward. All you need to do is go up to a moth trail and follow them as they fly back to their nest. These tails will be marked on your map too. So you won’t have to do any thorough searching like you need to with Tethered Kites, for instance.

However, there is one important step that most players forget. In order to mark the nest as complete, you actually need to collect some fruit from it. This fruit will only spawn if you follow the trail. But if you don’t collect it, you won’t be able to complete fleet-footed.

BladeWing Moth Trail Locations

As previously mentioned, you need to find a total of 11 nests to complete Fleet-Footed. With that in mind, here are the locations of each moth trail across the map. Following these trials will then lead you to the nest:

  • Trail One. Located in the Northeastern section of the Waterway Valley.
  • Trail Two. Located on the easternmost Droplet Island.
  • Trail Three. Located next to the Stone Lake in the Stone Hold region.
  • Trail Four. Located in the Mother of Rivers region, just before the main lake opens up.
  • Trail Five. Located in the Northernmost point of the Step’s Cradle region.
  • Trail Six. Located within the Great Stone Swamp in the Stone Cloud Valley.
  • Trail Seven. Located in the Shattered Bridge region, between the Weeping Gorge and Stone Blossom. It’s one of the trickier locations to find when completing Fleet-Footed.
  • Trail Eight. Located just in front of the Celebration Arches in The Celebration Valley.
  • Trail Nine. Located within The Cut region, just South of the Stone Sentinels.
  • Trail Ten. Located in the center of hte Gossamer Lakes.
  • Trail Eleven. Located in the Silk Woods, just West of the Hunter’s Headland.

It’s worth noting that these are only the locations for the Bladewing Moth trails. To complete Fleet-Footed, you then need to follow the moths back to their nest and collect the fruit. Only then will that nest be counted toward your progress.

Tips for Completing Fleet-Footed

  • Use your Map. When completing Fleet-Footed, the locations of each trail will appear on your map; you just need to explore the surrounding area first. So, if you’re struggling to find a trail, just use this guide to find the rough area, and then go to your map for a more precise location.
  • Track your Progress. Interestingly, you can also use your map to track your progress. Competed trails will appear green, and incomplete tails will appear blue or purple. You can actually use this tip for other collectible-based achievements too, such as Data Retriever and Father and Son in the Stars.
  • Complete Fleet-Footed Systematically. Finally, the most efficient way to complete Fleet-Footed is to use a systematic approach. Instead of just completing random trails, plan out your route to minimize traveling times between trails. For instance, a good idea to complete all the trails in one region, and then move on to the next region. This will help you to complete Fleet-Footed in half the time!
