In this Frostpunk 2 Chapter 4 Voracity Walkthrough, we’re covering both potential paths you can take in this chapter. The choice you made at the end of Chapter 3, to settle Winterhome or salvage it, affects your objectives for Chapter 4. You have to race against the clock to get things done, with only 48 weeks until the next gas outburst.
Salvage Winterhome
One of your first objectives is to acquire a total of 40 Cores for New London’s Generator. Cores are located within Winterhome and in other places around the Frostland. Next, go to the Heating tab to research the Hyperdrive Regulator. Once you have enough cores, you can build it. While doing this, you should also be moving people back to New London and replenishing your supplies and workforce. All of these lead up to the last objective, keeping the cold absent in New London.
Settle Winterhome In Frostpunk 2 Chapter 4
If you settled Winterhome, your first objective is going to be to build Fume Filtration Districts to make the area liveable. One Fume Filtration Districts costs One Core. Divide your resources between New London and Winterhome while doing this. You’ll have to transfer your resources to ensure the new colony is stable. You can do this through the resource transfer menu.
Outside of the objectives, there are a couple of things you can do to ensure the safety and security of your workers and Winterhome. Building Watchtowers will help stop the opposing faction from interfering with work being done in Winterhome.
For the next objective, you need to rebuild Winterhome. That means you must reach a population of 9,000. Ensure that cold, disease, and hunger are not present in Winterhome.
