Hollow Knight Silksong Berry Picking Quest Walkthrough

After reaching the northern part of Hollow Knight Silksong and Mosshome in Bone Bottom, you will meet an NPC named Moss Druid. You’ll find them stirring a mysterious concoction inside a large cauldron. Upon speaking with them, players will receive a quest that involves finding three Mossberries across Pharloom. In the early game, you might have encountered some of them, but if you haven’t, here’s a guide for you. Find out how to finish the Berry Picking quest and where to find all three Mossberries.

How to Initiate the Berry Picking quest in Silksong

Players will need to find Moss Druid, an NPC located in Mosshome within the Bone Bottom region. Head to the upper section of Mosshome, where the Silkspear can also be found, then continue to the rightmost area

Initially, the path leading to the Moss Druid is blocked by Silk threads. This means players must first unlock the Silkspear and use it to clear the threads. After that, continue forward until you reach an area with green fumes, a bench, and an entity beside a cauldron.

Then, speak to Moss Druid.

Berry Picking – All Mossberry locations in Hollow Knight Silksong

Here’s how to find all necessary Mossberies in Hollow Knight Silksong.

Mossberry #1

The first mossberry is found within Moss Grotto, just near the very first spawn. Fast travel to Bone Bottom, then run to the left. Drop down to a hole, until you reach Moss Grotto. From the first spawn, go to the upper section and jump over small platforms until you reach this spot.

The second one can be found near the first Mossberry and the Ruined Chapel, where the Moss Mother boss is located. This area is in the right section of the Moss Grotto.

Upon arriving, you’ll notice a Mossberry attached to a branch on the ceiling. It’s difficult to reach, and a regular jump isn’t quite enough. To get it, you’ll need to pogo jump. This can be tricky and may take several attempts.

To do this, wait for the enemy to dive down. Then position yourself, jump, and perform a diagonal downward attack. This will propel Hornet upward, giving her the lift needed to reach the Mossberry. Once it’s within reach, quickly strike to collect it.

Mossberry #3

“Head back to the entrance of Moss Druid’s location and drop down the hole. Reach the bottom area and go to the right. Here, you’ll find a flying Aknid, and unlike other bugs in the game, its mouth seems to glow. Players must defeat this Aknid in order to obtain the Mossberry. Once it’s defeated, collect the Mossberry it drops. These do not respawn
