After completing the “Unwelcome Aboard” quest by delivering Cogwheels to the Blacksmith, you’ll be able to accept the “Dressed to Kill” and “Strike the Iron” quests. The “Dressed to Kill” quest in Skull and Bones is a beginner quest that introduces you to the character customization capabilities in Skull and Bones.
Where to Find the Vanity Atelier
The Vanity Atelier is the clothing shop in Skull and Bones. It can be found near Scurlock’s Office and is run by Florentine d-Alesso.
From the Blacksmith, head south across the bridge to the right of the Blacksmith shop. Continue to head straight towards Scurlock’s office, stopping just short of it. The building on the left has two dressed-up pirate mannequins on the left side of the stairs, plus an array of hats and dresses on the right side of the stairs. Walk up the stairs to the door and press “F” to enter.
How to Purchase Clothes in Skull and Bones
At the counter of the shop, press “F” to speak with d’Alesso. Of the two options you’re given, the first is to “Purchase and Equip Items”. Click on it to open the shop’s interface.
The shop has eleven categories to browse:
- Sets, which show every piece in a set. This category makes it easy to buy and equip matching clothes.
- Headwear, which consists of hats and bandanas.
- Face accessories, like earrings and eye patches.
- Neck accessories, including necklaces and scarves.
- Torso, which contains tops.
- Waist, which has belts and bags.
- Forearm, which consists of gloves and bracelets.
- Hand, which contains rings.
- Bottoms, like pants and skirts.
- Footwear, ranging from sandals to boots.
- Body cosmetics like tattoos and scars.
To purchase items, left-click on an item. This will open a small screen showing the item you’re looking at, the set it belongs to, how many items you own from that set, and the price of the item. You can also decide between buying and equipping the item, just buying it, and canceling the transaction.
How to Equip Items at the Vanity Atelier
When you purchase an item, you have the option to equip it immediately.
To equip an item you already own, select the category it belongs to in the shop and left-click on it to equip. Equipping an item will put a yellow triangle with a checkmark in it on the top right corner of the item’s entry in the shop.
How to Submit the “Dressed to Kill” Quest
Once you have equipped your new clothing at the Vanity Atelier, make your way back to the Blacksmith’s shop. Press “F” to speak with him.
Selected the “Dressed to Kill” quest and press the space bar to submit it. This will turn in the quest and give you its rewards.
