In today’s guide, we’re covering (KCD2) Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 True Cardinal Trophy. The True Cardinal is a Silver trophy achievement that can be obtained by making your way through the church council without raising suspicion. This requires selecting the right dialogue choices. Continue on to learn which dialogue choices you should select to unlock this missable achievement
Correct Dialogue Options for Jermone and Giuseppe (True Cardinal)
When you reach The Italian Job main story quest, you will find yourself in Kuttenberg, more precisely the Italian Court. Here you will be greeted by Janosh Uher and Jerome Naaz. When presented with the first option, to either ‘Bow’ or to ‘Step Inside’, select “Bow” to show your respect. Jerome will ask if he’s met you somewhere, to which you want to select “Evade”.
Whilst following Jerome, who leads you to Giuseppe. It’s important to select the correct set of dialogue options here, otherwise you won’t get the trophy. These pop up after meeting up with Csaba Molnar. The correct options are as follows; (Dialogue options may differ depending on your current playthrough)
- (Cordial greeting in Italian) – (Keep Quiet and Move On)
- “How is life here?” – (Come – Enter the Council)
- “Why do you stay here?” – (Continue Formally)
- How many guards are under your command?” – (The Pope has not reached a decision)
- (Say goodbye and move on)
- “Come” (Enter council)
Inside the Council – Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 (KCD2)
If you have not yet had these dialogue options. When you enter the council, select “Continue formally” so you don’t raise any suspicion. When asked how Pope Boniface feels about the whole affair, respond with “The Pope has not reached a decision.”
After this cutscene and dialogue, approach the wine barrel on the left side of the rune and drink from it at least once. You then want to talk to Talbich of Uniczow, the man wearing green at the table. Select these next dialogue options:
- “Remind me.”
- (Keep quiet)
- “What do you think about the dispute?”
- (Leave)
Talk to Father Anthony, seated to the left of Talbich of Uniczow, and select these options:
- “What are the brotherhood’s demands?”
- “I understand.”
- (Leave).
Speak to Abbot Jan III next. You’ll pretty much select the same options that you did with Father Anthony, except you’ll ask about the monastery’s demands instead of the brotherhoods. So; ”What are the monastery’s demands?” > ”I understand” > ”Leave”
Final Dialogue Options
Talk to Janosh Uher, the man in the red hat at the head of the table, to start the ”Closing Speech”. Select the dialogue option “Albich is right (support Sedletz)” and then “Calm down.” By selecting these dialogue options, you’ll unlock the True Cardinal Trophy.
