Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 – How To Get The Pre-Order Bonus (Lion’s Crest)

The (KCD2) Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Lion’s Crest is an armor set included in the pre-order edition. However, the game doesn’t just give you the items. Henry must complete a treasure hunt to find the Brunswick armor set. Let’s see where the armor is hidden and how you can collect it even if you didn’t pre-order the game!

How to Find the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Lion’s Crest Armor Set

You can start the Lion’s Crest task after arriving in Troskowitz. Go speak to Scribe Gaibl. He is west of the tavern. Talk to him to begin the treasure hunt. He gives you some background lore and the riddle you must solve to find the first two Brunswick items.

Before leaving, make sure to get a shovel. Keep in mind that you will have to fight some bandits and wolves. Consider visiting Tomcat in the Nomads’ Camp for some combat training first.

The Lion’s Crest Riddle – Brunswick’s Dagger and Gauntlet

Leave Troskowitz and head north. Go past Trosky Castle and keep heading north until you enter the woods. Between some rocks, you will find a cross. Move the cross and dig to find Brunswick’s Dagger and Gauntlet. You will also receive Maps I and II, pointing you in the direction of the other items.

Map I – Brunswick’s Leg Armor, Coif, and Caparison

The location marked on Map I is not far from the Chapel in the Rocks. Walk west from the Chapel and discover the Wolf Hunting Spot. Be careful of the wolves. You will have to kill a few of them to scare the others away. Search for the treasure between the two trees with intertwined roots. Dig at that location to receive three more Brunswick items and Map III.

Map II – Brunswick’s Plate Sleeves

From the Wolf Hunting Spot, walk southwest until you reach Vidlak Pond. The location is close to the settlement. Follow the western bank of the pond and use the fallen tree to reach the cross in the rocks. Dig and reveal another Brunswick armor and Map IV.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Lion’s Crest Armor Map III – Brunswick’s Brigandine

From Zhelejov, walk north and enter the woods. Look for a big tree with a cross and a skeleton resting on its base. Dig to receive Brunswick’s Brigandine.

Map IV – Brunswick’s Bascinet

The final location is close to the Nomads’ Camp. Dealing with the three bandits is the challenging part. The recommendation is to wait until nighttime and take care of them while they sleep. After disposing of the bandits, look for the cross on the rocks, where you will find the last Brunswick armor, the bascinet.
