You should visit Tomcat without hesitation because he is not just a challenger, he is also a trainer. Interact with Tomcat and ask him to practice. This is a great opportunity to review basic combat moves and hone your swordsmanship. Training with him will help you improve your weapons and Warfare skills. It is recommended to find Tomcat early on and get some levels in a safe environment. After practice, Tomcat will tell Henry about the Master Strikes, powerful sword techniques. He agrees to share them if you beat him in a duel.

How to Defeat Master Tomcat

Tomcat poses a challenging fight. He is fast and aggressive. His skills are superior to Henry’s. He will not shy away from performing Master Strikes. You cannot block these attacks. The only way to survive is to avoid them.

How to Avoid Tomcat’s Master Strikes

You should focus on not allowing Tomcat to perform a Master Strike on you. This move hits you before the foe attacks your unguarded side. To avoid this, don’t attack from the opposite direction of Tomcat’s guard. Keep on attacking his guard to force him to defend. When he gets tired, you will be able to hit him and deal damage.

Fight

Another thing to keep in mind is not to perform a riposte. You can do this move after a parry. Should you riposte, your guard will switch to the opposite side of the foe’s guard. This will make you a target for a Master Strike.

Perform Perfect Blocks

This is not a quick fight, meaning that you will run out of Stamina a couple of times. You should aim to do perfect blocks. Defend with perfect blocks and attack the enemy after he does a combo. Repeat this strategy and you will beat the master swordsman.

Perfect Block

If you are having a hard time, abandon the fight until you get some better armor. Brunswick’s set is a fantastic early-game armor. If you don’t have the pre-order edition, a nighttime visit to the Troskowitz armory should do the trick.
