No matter how you play, rushed or completionist style, KCD 2 is a long game. Henry relies on skills and perks. Whether it is combat, survival, or conversation, each skill makes your adventure more enjoyable. Skills allow you to adopt a certain play style and customize the experience.

The trouble is that the game throws a lot of skills at you. There are so many options and it is easy to get lost in the choice. Even though there is no wrong choice when it comes to perks, there is the problem of timing. Some perks are useful in the beginning, while others can be left for later. Also, maybe you want to change your play style. The good news is that the game lets you respec. The bad news is that it will cost you.

How Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Respec Works

You can unlearn all the skills and get your points back, but you will need an item. There is no other way to respec. The item in question is Lethean Water. It’s a potion with the description saying: “You forget all earthly experience”. Consuming the potion will get your points back.

There are two ways to get Lethean Water:

• From the Apothecary.
• From crafting.

Each respec costs you one potion. You can do this as many times as you want.

How to Buy Lethean Water

Henry can buy Lethean Water from the Apothecary. The one in Kuttenberg sells it. You will find the Apothecary in the southern part of the town, near the Ruthard Palace.

One Lethean Water costs around 110 Groschen, depending on your reputation and haggling skills. It’s a hefty sum. The alternative is to get the recipe and craft the potion yourself.

How to Craft Lethean Water

The Apothecary in Kuttenberg sells the recipe. The price is 250 Groschen. The recommendation is to save money and buy the recipe, instead of ready-to-drink potions. This way, you can make as many potions as you like and respec at will. Not to mention, you will also practice and level up the Alchemy skill.

The herbs needed for the potion are:

• Belladonna x1.
• Henbane x1.
• Wormwood x2.

Belladonna is found in the grassy areas of forests. One spot where you can find it early on is near Bozhena’s hut. It is close to where you buried the body in the beginning of the game. Wormwood is a common herb found on fields and by the roadside. Henbane is a poisonous herb. It is not found in abundance, but you can buy it for a small price from the Apothecary.

Once you have all the herbs, find an Alchemy Bench and follow the instructions. If you have the Alchemy skill Dark Arts Apprentice, you can get away with small mistakes, making the crafting process easier.
