Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Belladonna – How to Find It
Saviour Schnapps is an important potion. It restores HP and, more importantly, it lets you save your game progress. Luckily, Henry acquires the recipe not long after the game begins. On the other hand, finding the necessary materials is not that easy. Belladonna, one of the two ingredients, is a rare herb.
The in-game description says you can find Belladonna in clearings and leafy woods. You can always buy Belladonna from Apothecary shops, but if you want to save money you should pick it up yourself.
(KCD2) Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Belladonna – How to Spot the Plant
The game has no shortage of forests. However, the trouble with this herb is its common appearance. Unlike Thistle, Marigold, or Poppy which have a distinctive look and bright colors, Belladonna is a green plant that looks like an ordinary bush. The purple flowers are its only particular characteristic, but, depending on the time of the day and weather conditions, they are not that easy to spot.
The good news is that once you come across this plant, you will get used to its appearance, making it easier to find it.
Belladonna Locations
The recommendation is to keep an eye out for the plant whenever you find yourself in a grassy woodland area. The game has some locations where you are guaranteed to find it. Keep in mind that Belladonna grows back after a few days, so you can always return and collect some more. Here are some spawning locations.
Close to Bozhena’s Hut
After getting the Saviour Schnapps recipe from Pavlena, Sir Hans Capon will urge you to continue with the main quest. Ignore him and go into the woods surrounding the hut to collect a few plants. The game will prevent you from wandering too far from the hut, so you don’t need to worry about being sidetracked.
Nameless Spring
North of Semine, you will find the Nameless Spring. Search this location and loot the basket that contains 21 Belladonna plants. The basket doesn’t refill, but the nearby area has more plants you can harvest.
North of Trosky Castle
Head north of Trosky Castle and you will discover a great spot. Just as you enter the woods, there is a clearing with many plants. Just don’t forget to dry the plants, as they will go bad after a few days.
South of Troskowitz
Very close to Troskowitz, near the Butcher’s shop, you will find another spot that has several plants. You will discover this location early on, securing a nice Belladonna supply.
Overgrown Dugout
Head north from Troskowitz and uncover the Overgrown Dugout location, another spot where you can find this elusive plant.
