In Megabonk, you’ll encounter a wide variety of enemies. Individually, they’re easy to handle but when a massive horde starts rushing in, things can quickly spiral out of control if you don’t have a good build. Fortunately, scattered across the map are Shrines that can either empower your character or introduce tougher challenges. Here’s a look at every Shrine in Megabonk and how each one works.
Megabonk Shrines explained
In total, Megabonk has seven shrines that you can interact with.
Bloody Shrine
The Bloody Shrine is worth activating only if you’re confident in your strength. This shrine adds one extra boss to the fight, making the boss stage significantly more tougher than usual.

Challenge Shrine
Challenge Shrines put you to the test by summoning a group of enemies marked with a purple icon above their heads. Once you defeat them all, the shrine rewards you with a chest.
Charge Shrines
Charge Shrines are the most common type of shrine in Megabonk. To activate one, players must stay within the circle for a few seconds. Stepping outside the zone will reset the charge, forcing you to start over.

Once activated, the shrine presents three stat boosts, and players can choose only one to upgrade.
If you’re lucky, you might encounter a golden charge shrine which gives you legendary stats.
Greed Shrine
Talk about high risk, high reward. In Megabonk, activating the Greed Shrine increases the game’s difficulty by 5%, spawning more enemies and tougher bosses. In exchange, you’ll earn better rewards for your efforts!
Moai shrine
The Moai Shrine is easily one of everyone’s favorites. When interacted with, it grants a free power-up along with items of varying rarities, and you don’t have to charge them.

Shrine of Succ In Megabonk
Aside from the Moai Shrine, the Shrine of Succ is another great one to find. As most players know, not all EXP orbs get picked up, some are often left scattered around the map. The Shrine of Succ (along with the Magnet) fixes that by pulling in all remaining EXP and instantly adding it to your total. Pretty convenient, right?

Bandit Statue Shrine In Megabonk
Lastly, there’s the Bandit Statue, found only in the Desert map. After interacting with it, Bandit will appear and immediately attack using his Dexecutioner. If you manage to defeat him, you’ll be rewarded with a chest.
