Metaphor ReFantazio At Your Own Risk – How to Obtain the Trophy

To unlock the At Your Own Risk trophy and achievement, you need to pass the Test of Courage. This activity takes place in Martira. You will gain access to this city by following the story. If you are not there yet, just complete story missions until you get to Martira.

When you are in Martira, go to the market. Walk north from it. Keep going until you spot several NPCs standing near a wooden platform overlooking a cliff. One of them is the Spirited Youth. Interact with him and take his challenge.

The Spirited Youth wants you to put your Courage to the test by jumping from the platform. It will also test your generosity, as you need to pay a fee to enter this contest.

Agree to the test by selecting the “I’ll take the plunge” dialogue option. The first jump cost 250 Reeve. Watch the cutscene and take your reward for passing the first test. You will get a Courage boost as a prize. To get the trophy, you must pass the test two more times. The second fee is 375 Reeve and the last fee costs 500 Reeve. Once you take the jump three times, you unlock the trophy and the Foreign Coin item. You also receive a Courage increase for each jump.

How to Increase Courage in Metaphor ReFantazio

Combat

Courage increases each time you defeat enemies. The game has no shortage of activities that require combat. If you want to rank up fast, don’t shy away from battles.

Complete Bounties

Bounties are side quests that task you with defeating mini-bosses. Check out the Recruitment Centers to see which Bounties are available. As you continue through the main story you will inevitably begin to unlock even more bounties

Complete Gauntlet Runner Activities

The Gauntlet Runner has many activities that help you increase your Royal Virtues. Whenever you need a quick increase, check out to see what the Gauntlet Runner has to offer. You increase your Courage when you spend time with Strohl in the Gauntlet Runner.

Read Junah’s Book

This is another Gauntlet Runner activity that boosts your Courage. Find the Top Secret Poetry! Do Not Read! book and do the opposite of what the title says. You can read the book multiple times.

Complete Side Quests

In addition to mandatory story quests, Metaphor ReFantazio has many side tasks you can complete for extra rewards. Some of them, such as A Bullish Embargo, offer Courage as a reward.
