How to Find and Defeat All Monster Hunter Stories 3 Twisted Reflection Invasive Monsters
Invasive Monsters can be found in all main regions:
- Azuria – Yian Garuga, Seregios, Plesioth.
- Canalta Timberland – Arzuros, Nerscylla, Shogun Ceanataur.
- Tarkuan – Odogaron, Diablos.
- Serathis – Khezu.
You cannot defeat an Invasive Monster simply by damaging it. Each boss has certain particularities and weaknesses. You need to figure these out in order to make them retreat. Another thing to remember is that all these bosses spawn during the night. Each monster drops an Endangered Egg that you can introduce in the Habitat.
Monster Hunter Stories 3 Twisted Reflection Invasive Monsters in Azuria
Invasive Yian Garuga
Location: Sunpetal Plains.
Guards: Endangered Egg Rathian.
Invasive Yian Garuga is an unmissable story boss. The encounter acts as a tutorial in Chapter 1, introducing you to Monster Hunter Stories 3 Invasive Monster battles. You must break Yian Garuga’s legs and deal enough damage to cause the boss to flee. Focus on defense and use a great or long sword for damage.
Invasive Seregios
Location: Mirror Lake.
Guards: Endangered Egg Astalos.
Use the wind currents to navigate to the location. The recommended weapon for this battle is a hammer with Backlash Blitz or Perfect Crush. Notice the monster’s aura after it roars. It can be either red, green, or blue. The color is an indicator of the type of attack. Here is how to respond based on the attack’s color:
- Red – use Perfect Strike and Speed.
- Green – use Perfect Strike and Power.
- Blue – Perfect Strike and Technical.
Invasive Plesioth
Location: Mirror Lake.
Guards: Endangered Egg Lagiacrus.
The Invasive Plesioth is in a cave you can reach by following the water path. You will need a fire-based monster to counter Plesioth’s water attacks. Hit the monster’s head to break its water attack.
Invasive Monsters in Canalta Timberland
Invasive Arzuros
Location: Blessing Hill.
Guards: Endangered Egg Canyne.
Invasive Arzuros is an unmissable story boss. You will face this monster in Chapter 2. During the battle, the boss summons ads. You can leave them alone and focus on the boss or defeat the ads as they appear.
Invasive Nerscylla
Location: Blessing Hill.
Guards: Endangered Egg Nargacuga.
The invisibility mechanic makes the Invasive Nerscylla one of the most annoying Monster Hunter Stories 3 Twisted Reflection Invasive Monsters. The recommended weapon is a Gunlance with Wyvern’s Fire or Wyvern’s Blaze. Use these attacks when the message “This is where the real battle begins” appears on screen.
Invasive Shogun Ceanataur
Location: Frozen Grotto.
Guards: Endangered Egg Mizutsune.
The Invasive Shogun Ceanataur hides in a cave behind the waterfall. To defeat it, you must break its claws using a Defense Boost. Get your defense up when the monster targets you or an ally. The attack will bounce back, breaking its claws.
Monster Hunter Stories 3 Invasive Monsters in Tarkuan and Serathis
Invasive Odogaron
Location: Rococo Rocks in Tarkuan.
Guards: Endangered Egg Zinogre.
You will want to bring an Almudron and a Bow or Gunlance as a weapon. Use the Almudron to inflict the Mudbogged status on the Invasive Odogaron and use the weapon to destroy its claws.
Invasive Diablos
Location: Colossal Dragon’s Remains in Tarkuan.
Guards: Endangered Egg Tigrex.
To defeat the Invasive Diablos, you will need a Hammer with a ground slamming ability, such as Spinning Meteor. When the boss submerges, you need to hit the right hole to make it reappear. The boss doesn’t emerge from the same spot twice, so keep hitting the same hole and the boss will eventually return. Keep your stamina up during the fight.
Invasive Khezu
Location: Glacial Caps in Serathis.
Guards: Endangered Egg Barioth.
Before engaging the Invasive Khezu, make sure you have items or skills that protect against Paralysis. Use them at the beginning of the fight. Counter the Power attacks with Speed and Double Attacks. Use the Kinship Skill when the boss stops using Power attacks.
