Nioh 3 – List of Guardian Spirits

In Nioh 3, you have Guardian Spirits that can assist you in battle. There are Samurai and Ninja guardians, each spirit comes with two main skills and abilities. They can also be used to get across spirit veins, but you must make sure you have the proper guardian spirit equipped. There is a total of 19 spirits to unlock altogether

List Of Samurai Guardian Spirits in Nioh 3

There is a total of 9 Spirit Guardians for the Samurai class. Many of which deal Wind and Water based elemental damage. Such as the Kongojishi and Golden Shachi

Oh	Wind	Gusting Crosswind, Cutting WIngs	At the end of the Heian era, the Go defeated Minamoto no Yoritomo.
Kongojishi	Wind	Devestation Shot, Gale Claws	During the Battle of Saigagake, you need to defeat Takeda Shingen.
Guhin	Wind	Tree Slicer, Eight Handed Blade	You get this at the start of the Escape from the Hitokoto Slipde Mission.
Narikama Tanuki	Water	Great Tanuki Slam. Boling Counter	During the Tiger’s Cause mission, Defeat Takeda Shingen.
Golden Shachi	Water	Twin Waves, Golden Current	Complete the Scion of the Gods mission and defeat Tokugawa Yoshinobu.
Murakumo	Lightning	Crackling Steel, Lightning Squall	Story reward for finishing the main Mission: A Sinister End and defeating the main boss.
Ho-oh	Lightning	Tree Slicer, Eight-Handed Blade	You get this one after you defeat Minamoto No Yoshitsune and finish Beneath a Pure White Flag.
Kusanagi	Fire	Nagi’s Blade, heaven’s Fire	Pick the Samurai variant of Kusangi during the tutorial when you reach the rift.
Shin-Roku	Electricity	Divine Thunder, Thunderous Kick	Finish the Escape from Hitokoto Slipe Main Mission.

Ninja Guardian Spirits

There is a total of 10 Ninja based Spirit Guardians to find and unlock. Many of which deal in both Electricity and Fire based elemental damage. Including both Nekomata and Enko

Nekomata	Eletricity	Electrified Kunai, Thunderclaw Kick	You can get this one at the start of the Escape From Hitokoto Slope quest.
Shami-Choro	Electricity	Thunderous Performance, Strings of Light	You get this one after finishing the main mission The Sweet Sound of Stringa and defeating Takasugi Shinsaku.
Enko	Fire	Blazing Claw, Hellfire Maul	Go and defeat Jakotsu-baba during the first crucible spike during The Hamamatsu Incident.
Kongojishi	Fire	Mountain Render, Inferno Rush	To get this guardian spirit, you need to defeat Takeda Shingen during the Battle of Saigagake.
Tengen Kujaku	Fire	Elemental Roulette, Inferno Whirlwind	Found through story progression and defeating the specific boss tied to the guardian.
Ho-Oh	Lightning	Downburst, Other skill to be unlocked during the story	Complete Beneath a Pure White Flag and defeat Minamoto no Yoshitsune.
Kusanagi	Fire	Turblent Waters, Heaven’s Drops	Pick the blue Ninja Kusanagi when you first enter the Rift during the tutorial.
Ho	Wind	Airstream Reversal, Feathered Airburst	Complete Beneath a Pure White Flag and defeat Minamoto no Yoshitsune.
Kurama Tengu	Wind	Kurama’s Tempest, Kurama’s Slicer	Defeat the Great Tengu while you’re completing the Sacred Mountain Defiled Mission.
Murakumo	Wind	Wild Whirlwind, Gale Slicer	Story reward for finishing the main Mission: A Sinister End and defeating the main boss.

These Guardian Spirits are a great way to tackle more difficult boss fights. With their unique abilities that allow you to take advantage of any elemental weakness. Many of which are unlocked through both main story completion and for defeating specific individual bosses
