Nioh 3 Yokai Horde Picture Scroll is a secret side quest that doesn’t appear on the map. This quest is a prerequisite for another missable myth and the Like-Minded Friends trophy.

How to Unlock and Complete the Nioh 3 Yokai Horde Picture Scroll Myth
The Yokai Horde Picture Scroll myth starts in Kamo Village in the Heian region.
Take the Kamo Village fast travel point and head down the snowy slope.
Follow the path and make a left to reach the Spirit Vein. Ascend and continue along the path until you reach the shrine.
There’s an item you can interact with in front of the shrine. Take a moment to prepare if you need to, as two enemies will spawn immediately after you interact with the picture scroll. As soon as the enemies are down, talk to the spirit to start the Yokai Horde Picture Scroll side quest.
How to Find the Yokai Picture Scrolls
This Nioh 3 hidden myth has two objectives:
- Find the Yokai Picture Scroll in Funaokayama.
- Find the Yokai Picture Scroll at Toji Temple.
The Yokai Picture Scroll in Funaokayama
Take the teleport to Funaokayama and make your way west. Take the second right and follow the path to reach a hidden area with a small lake. Notice the scroll sitting on the rocks. Interact with it and defeat the enemies that spawn. Speak with the spirit to start the second Nioh 3 Yokai Horde Picture Scroll objective.
The Yokai Picture Scroll in Toji Temple
Travel to Rajomon and head towards the Kujo Street Shrine to find the temple. Go up the ladder and interact with the scroll on the table. This encounter features several enemies and one boss, Enenra. Once the fight is over, you will be teleported back to Toji Temple. Talk to the spirit to complete the myth and receive the Old Sage Mask and one Ninja Point. Completing this quest unlocks the follow-up myth, Seeking Rare Yokai.
