List of All Available Jobs in Octopath Traveler 0 – Character Classes
The jobs in Octopath Traveler 0 include Warrior, Merchant, Thief, Apothecary, Hunter, Cleric, Scholar, and Dancer. There also is an Architect which is the category Sita falls into but this is not available for the protagonist.
Cleric
Cleric’s are known for healing and supporting their team members. They mostly use staves and fans are their prime weapons. Notable Clerics are Laurana, Ophilia, and Pius. The patron god is Aelfric.
Apothecary
When you’re an Apothecary, you are creating medicines to treat HP and status ailments. The main weapons are axes and tomes. Notable Apothecaries are Macy, Esperre, and Alfyn while their patron god is Dohter.
Dancer
Dancers are excellent in dancing and singing with their main weapons being daggers and fans. Notable Dancers include Saoirse, Goodwin, Primrose, and Tatloch while their patron god is Sealticge.
Merchant
For Merchants, the job is pretty self-explanatory. They distribute goods, using a Polearm and a bow as their main weapon. Notable merchants include Ludo, Carinda, and Tressa with their patron god being Bifelgan.
Scholar
A Scholar loves the pursuit of knowledge but is also talented in magic. They fight with a stave and a tome. Notable Scholars are Alexia, Xerc, Cyrus, Alaune, and Solon with their patron god being Alephan.
Thief
A job as a thief requires you to be quick and nimble. Thieves fight with swords and daggers, hailing to their patron god of Aeber. Notable thieves are Celsus, Therion, and Bargello.
Warrior
Warriors are classic fighters using swords and polearms to fight enemies. Notable warriors include Viator, Olberic, Elrica, Richard, Sazantos, Eltrix, and Rondo. Their patron god is Brand.
Hunter
Hunters are great trackers known for using axes and bows in fights. Notable hunters include Phenn, Delitia, and H’annit. Their patron god is Draefendi.
How to Change Jobs
While party members can’t change their jobs, the protagonist can. They can change it by going to the skills menu and looking at the selected jobs. As long as you have enough battle skills, you can switch jobs.
However, for everyone else their jobs remain fixed.
