Palworld Hardwood – How To Get It

Palworld Hardwood is a crafting resource used to make high quality wooden boards and high-tier items. You can harvest it by chopping down specific trees or produce it at the Logging Site II.

How to Get Palworld Hardwood

There are two reliable ways to get Hardwood:

• Harvest it from trees.
• Build a Logging Site II.

Harvest Hardwood From Native Trees

Palworld Hardwood is a level 40+ crafting material obtained from native trees in several biomes. Make sure to use a Pal Metal Axe when chopping down trees to get eight pieces at once.

In the Sakurajima area, Hardwood is harvested from the cherry trees. This is the best place to obtain this material.

In the Mountain Obsidian area, look for the dead trees.

In the Loess Plains Watchtower area, chop down the dark red trees.

The spiky trees in the TwilightDunes and the DesiccatedDesert also drop this material. Pals such as Mossanda and Palumba may drop Hardwood when defeated, but this is not a reliable way of obtaining this resource.

Produce Palworld Hardwood at the Logging Site II

As soon as you have 100 pieces, you can build a facility that allows you to passively farm Hardwood. Open the Technology Tree and check out the newly-added level 43 Logging Site II. Unlock it using three Ancient Technology Points and then build the facility in your base.

To increase efficiency, make sure to assign a Celesdir Noct creature to the facility. This Pal has level 8 lumbering work suitability. You can find the Celesdir Noct Pal in the World Tree biome.

Assign more lumbering Pals to the Logging Site to increase the amount of obtained resources. Also, don’t forget to use a transporting creature to automatically collect and store the produced items.
