RE9 Resident Evil Requiem Final Puzzle Solution

You can solve the Final Puzzle challenge on any difficulty setting, so feel free to pick Casual or Standard. Don’t forget to make a manual save before each step, so you can easily return should you miss a step. All the requirements are done while you play as Grace.

RE9 Final Puzzle – First Part

Step 1 – Let 115 Bodies Fall Into the Pool

Play the game normally until you reach the section where you must collect three Joint Plugs in the Rhodes Hill Care Center Basement. Once you arrive at the Processing Pool area, the main objective instructs you to drain the water. Before interacting with the valve, let 115 bodies fall into the pool. This will take around 15 minutes. You don’t necessarily have to count the bodies, just wait for more than 20 minutes to be on the safe side.

Step 2 – Don’t Kill Any Zombies

After draining the pool, jump down and start the next section. The grinder machine will activate. Do not kill the zombies yourself during this part. Let the grinder take care of them. Remember that you can shoot them once in the head or in the leg to stun them. If you happen to kill one by accident, reload the game.

Step 3 – Check If A Ton of Blood Flowed Out

After collecting the third Join Plug and falling into the pool of blood, interact with the lever on the Collection & Testing control panel. A message saying “A Ton of Blood Flowed Out” is the confirmation that Resident Evil Requiem Final Puzzle Steps 1 and 2 were correctly performed.

Step 4 – Flush the Toilet Eight Times

Play normally until you leave the basement area and collect the Severed Hand. You will need it later. Make a manual save after collecting the Severed Hand. Go to the Restroom and flush the toilet eight times.

Step 5 – Collect Marie’s Doll

Continue with the game and collect the Helicopter Key. Complete the escape section and trigger the cutscene with the blood tank. If you did everything correctly so far, you will be able to pick up Marie’s Doll. The doll is at the base of the stairs. Take the doll, release Elpis, and finish the game.

Resident Evil Requiem Final Puzzle – Second Part

True to its description, Marie’s Doll remains in your inventory as a permanent item when you start a new playthrough or reload a save file. You need to have Marie’s Doll in your inventory at all times to complete the last RE9 Final Puzzle steps.

Step 6 – Analyze the Severed Hand

Load the save file you made after collecting the Severed Hand. Marie’s Doll should now be in the storage container. Go to the Blood Lab while carrying Emily and use the laser microscope to analyze the Severed Hand.

Step 7 – Input the Code and Solve the RE9 Final Puzzle

Go to the Lead Researcher’s Office with Emily and interact with the box. Input this code:

You will hear a laughter, followed by a pop-up message congratulating you for solving the puzzle. Check the Challenges menu and collect the 20000 CP as a reward.
