RE9 Resident Evil Requiem Chunk – Unlocking The Grace And Goliath Trophy

Resident Evil Requiem Chunk is a boss that hunts Grace in the East Wing of the Care Center. Killing Chunk is not mandatory for story progress, but doing so will make exploration easier, rewarding you with the Eye Spy Charm, and unlocks the Grace and Goliath trophy achievement

How to Defeat the RE9 Resident Evil Requiem Chunk Boss

There are two ways to kill Chunk:

• Using handgun or Requiem bullets.
• Using Hemolytic Injectors.

How to Defeat Chunk with Bullets

Chunk makes his first appearance when you collect the ID Wristband Level 1 on the second floor of the Care Center. That’s your first chance to kill him. The encounter is straightforward. Simply shoot at him until he dies.

RE9 Chunk is a large monster that tends to get stuck in doorways. You have plenty of time to shoot him a couple of times as he pursues Grace. Retreat down the stairs while shooting at him. It takes many handgun bullets to kill Chunk. If you can spare Requiem bullets, aim for his head and he will be dead after two or three headshots. The Grace and Goliath trophy will pop up once he is dead.

How to Defeat RE9 Chunk with Hemolytic Injectors

You also have the option to defeat this boss using Hemolytic Injectors. This strategy allows you to save precious ammo, but you’ll have to do some planning.

The first thing you must do is craft three Hemolytic Injectors. You need 60 Infected Blood and one Scrap to craft one Hemolytic Injector. These resources are not hard to come by. Blood is practically everywhere. Loot lockers and other containers to find Scraps.

As soon as you have three Hemolytic Injectors, go to the Blood Lab. Chunk is too big to follow you into the Blood Lab and the Treatment Room. Enter these rooms, wait for the boss to retreat, sneak up behind him, and use the Hemolytic Injector. Repeat this three times to defeat the Resident Evil Requiem Chunk without wasting a single bullet.
