Doll Room is one of the events you may encounter in Unknown Rooms in Slay The Spire 2. Like other events, it presents multiple options. Even players who have faced it many times may still be unsure of what it does. In Doll Room, you can choose from various Doll Relics, but each choice comes at the cost of some health.
Here’s a guide on what to pick in the Doll Room event in Slay the Spire 2 and which Doll Relics are worth taking.
What happens in the Slay the Spire 2 Doll Room event?
The Doll Room is an Act 1 Hive event that makes you choose among the following choices:
- Pick at Random: Obtain a random Doll Relic.
- Take some time: Lose 5 HP. Choose 1 of 2 Doll Relics.
- Examine Each and Make the Best Choice: Lose 15 HP. Choose 1 of 3 Doll Relics.
All options in Doll Room lead to receiving one of three Doll Relics in Slay the Spire 2: Daughter of the Wind, Mr. Struggles, or Bing Bong. Here’s a breakdown of each Doll Relic and its effects.
| Icon | Name | Effect |
|---|---|---|
![]() | Daughter of the Wind | Whenever you play an Attack, gain 1 Block. |
![]() | Mr. Struggles | At the start of your turn, deal damage equal to the turn number to ALL enemies. |
![]() | Bing Bong | Whenever you add a card to your Deck, add one additional copy. |
If you pick the first option, you won’t lose anything, and the game will randomly give you a relic. Luckily, none of the relics have negative effects or add a curse, so getting any of them won’t have much downside. However, not all relics are created equal, so some are better than others.

Here are the pros and cons of each relic:
| Relic | Pros | Cons |
| Daughter of the Wind | Useful with Juggernaut, and if you have a build that allows you to use plenty of Attack cards per turn | Block looks underwhelming if you don’t have many Attack cards. Weakest relic among the three |
| Mr. Struggles | Deals damage to all enemies; the damage increases each turn. | It barely deals damage during the early part of the combat. |
| Bing Bong | Gives two copies of any card you obtain It can be a game-changer if played well. | Best Doll Relic It could put you at a disadvantage if you acquire Curse cards. |
Depending on your build or deck, one relic might be better than the other. So if you want to get the best, and don’t want to risk getting another, you can choose Examine Each and Make the Best Choice, which essentially allows you to freely pick, but at the cost of 15 HP. If you’re at low HP, and/or is about to meet an elite, you can choose to pick the free option instead, or take the risk.
