Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is full of hidden rooms and objects, some of which you’ll need to find to complete achievements such as Spectre of the Seas. This particular achievement requires you to find a Ghost Ship, and if you don’t know where to look, it can feel impossible to complete. Luckily this guide will show you exactly how to discover the Ghost Ship and in turn complete Spectre of the Seas in Price of Persia.
Discover the Ghost Ship
To complete Spectre of the Seas, you need to discover the Ghost Ship. The Ghost Ship is one of many hidden rooms and objects in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and can only be accessed by taking a specific secret route.
Hidden places like the Ghost Ship have no direct relation to the main story, and you can easily complete the main game without ever discovering it. However, if you’re looking to 100% complete the game, you’ll need to take the time to explore the map’s intricacies.
Furthermore, the Ghost Ship is arguably the hardest of Prince of Persia’s hidden rooms, not only because of how hidden it is but also because you’ll need to pass a tough gauntlet to get to the area. You’ll also need a few tricky-to-obtain items, such as the Fabric of Time and Dimensional Claw. However, the effort is worth it, as on board is some excellent loot that you can use to upgrade your character.
Spectre of the Seas is worth 15 points or a bronze trophy, depending on the console you play on. You need to unlock it to 100% complete Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Luckily, you can’t miss it.
How to Complete Spectre of the Seas
To complete Spectre of the Seas, you will first need a few items. Primarily, it’s vital that you have the Fabric of Time, because the Ghost Ship is protected by a pretty tricky gauntlet that can only be accessed by using this ability. You’ll also need a dimensional claw to break your way through some areas. Finally, it’s a good idea to equip a powerful Athra Surge, which will help you defeat the enemies on board.
Once you’ve acquired the Fabric of Time and Dimensional Claw, you’ll be ready to tackle the obstacles leading to the Ghost Ship. Follow these steps to find it, and in turn complete Spectre of the Seas:
- Head to the Hidden Village in the Soma Tree area. There’s a gauntlet that you need to cross to enter it. This is where the Fabric of Time ability comes into play.
- Head to the lighthouse at the end of the hidden village. You’ll need to use your Dimensional Claw to break through the entrance.
- Head up the lighthouse, and you will run into an NPC called Fairba. Buy a map from him, then head to the right.
- You will reach a huge gap. Jump into the gap and after a few seconds of falling, you should find yourself on board the Ghost Ship.
- Wait a few moments and you should receive a notification saying you’ve completed the Spectre of the Seas trophy achievement.
- Once on board the Ghost Ship, you’ll be presented with a few enemies. Defeat them and you’ll be free to explore the Ghost Ship.
Rewards for Completing Spectre of The Seas
Exploring the Ghost Ship is a great idea when you’re trying to complete Spectre of the Seas. In fact, there are two lootable chests.
The first chest is just on the deck, and you should be able to see it instantly. Inside you’ll find a small number of Time Crystals, which you can use for various gear upgrades.
You can find the second chest underneath the deck. It’s a little harder to find, but is worth the effort as it contains a Soma Tree Petal. You can use these petals to upgrade your character’s base health.
It’s worth noting that you don’t have to collect these items to complete Spectre of the Seas. However, considering that the chests are pretty easy to find, there’s no reason not to pick up the loot. Plus, you’ll also make progress towards other achievements like Elixir of Gods!
