Speak With Every Wak-Wak Head

In order to complete the Tree of Life achievement, you need to speak with every Wak-Wak head. Wak-Wak heads are found on specific Wak-Wak trees, which are used to heal your character and replenish your gear. There are dozens of Wak-Wak trees around the map, but only eight Wak-Wak heads.

Wak-Wak heads are purple in colour and have big tusks and symbols painted on their heads. They’re an important part of the game’s lore.

To speak with a Wak-Wak head, you simply need to walk up to it and press the interact (L1/LB) button.

The Tree of Life achievement is worth 50 points/a silver trophy. You need to unlock it to 100% complete Prince of Perisa. Luckily, it’s an unmissable achievement. This means that you can pick it up even after finishing the story.

How to Complete Tree of Life

Tree of Life Prince of Persia the Lost Crown

Completing Tree of Life is as simple as travelling to the correct places on the map and pressing L1/LB a few times. With that in mind, here are the locations of every Wak-Wak head in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown:

  • Wak-Wak Head #1 (Kamil). Located in the Hyrcanian Forest, just to the right of the Lower City entrance.
  • Wak-Wak Head #2 (Soma Tree). Found in the Hyrcanian Forest during the Path to the Sand Prison quest. You can only talk to the head after defeating the Forest Queen.
  • Wak-Wak Head #3 (Karim). Located in the Sacred Archives, just above the point where you first enter the area. You’ll need to use the shifting stairs to parkour up to the top, making it one of the harder Wak-Wak heads to find when completing Tree of Life.
  • Wak-Wak Head #4 (Kazra). Located in the East Area of the Upper City. You will need to complete the Celestial Guardians quest to unlock the area.
  • Wak-Wak Head #5 (Kalux). Interestingly, you can find Kalux in several trees. However, the easiest place to find him when completing Tree of life is in the Sunken Harbour. Go to the East where all the corpses are piled up to find him.
  • Wak-Wak Head #6 (Kaya). Located in the Pit of the Eternal Sands, in the area where you find the old man for the first time.
  • Wak-Wak Head #7 (Kaname). Located in the Raging Sea area, within the burning ship.
  • Wak-Wak Head #8 (Kamya). Located in the Tower of Silence, just above Kaheva’s Forge.

Tips for Completing Tree of Life

Now that you know all the locations of the Wak-Wak heads, here are a few tips that should make completing the Tree of Life achievement a little bit easier:

  • Follow the Story. Some Wak-Wak heads, such as the Soma Tree, can only be interacted with after completing certain story missions. Therefore, it’s a good idea to make sure you’ve completed the right portion of the story before looking for each Wak-Wak head. You should refer back to this guide if you’re ever unsure.
  • Bundle Achievements. As you try to complete Tree of Life, it’s a good idea to bear a few other achievements in mind. Because so many collectables, like Amulets and Athra Surges, are found in random places throughout the map, you’re bound to come across a few extra goodies. So keep your eyes peeled! Doing this will ultimately make completing Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown even easier.
  • Keep Track. Make sure to keep track of which Wak-Wak heads you’ve interacted with, and which ones you still need to go and see. The last thing you want to do is interact with the same head twice!
