How to craft a Subnautica 2 Habitat Builder – Unlock Base Building

Subnautica 2

Habitat Builder in Subnautica 2 is one of the important tools you can get, and without it, you’ll be missing out on necessary features in the game. Upon crafting a Habitat Builder, you’ll get to use it to construct your base from the ground up.

To unlock the blueprint, you must find and scan any two of the four Habitat Builder locations scattered across the ocean.

Here are all the locations where you can find one.

You can find and scan Habitat Builders at four different locations.

Habitat Builder #1

The first and closest Habitat Builder is located East of your lifepod; look for a large cave with a prominent coral dome.

Enter the cave through this opening and swim deeper. Locate and scan the Habitat Builder, which is found near some Metal Salvage and an Acid Raion.

Habitat Builder #2

Face Southeast and swim approximately 90 meters from your lifepod toward the Welcome Center. Look for the Welcome Center sign and scan the Habitat Builder located right next to it.

Habitat Builder #3

Once inside, turn left and clear the Metal Salvage to reveal the hidden area.

Next to the oxygen tunic, you’ll find another Habitat Builder.
