The Blood Of Dawnwalker Forge It Anew – Unlocking The Arbiter’s Blade Trophy

The Blood of Dawnwalker

The Blood of Dawnwalker Forge It Anew is a side quest that allows you to obtain the legendary Imbued Sword of St. Mihai. Completing this quest also unlocks the Arbiter’s Blade trophy/achievement. Let’s see what you must do to get the legendary greatsword!

How to Start and Complete The Blood of Dawnwalker Forge It Anew Side Quest

The quest line through which you obtain the Imbued Sword of St. Mihai and unlock the Arbiter’s Blade trophy has three quests:

  • Night Terrors.
  • A Monk and A Saint.
  • Forge It Anew.

You must first find the broken sword and the three shards to repair it. Then, you have to perform a ritual to temper the sword.

How to Get the Broken Sword of St. Mihai

To obtain the Broken Sword of Saint Mihai, you must complete the quests Night Terrors and A Monk and A Saint. Visit the cathedral in Svartrau City at night and inspect the well to trigger the short quest Night Terrors.

Drop down, follow the quest marker, and inspect the corpse on the right to read the Thief’s Note.

The Night Terrors quest ends once you read the note and the next quest, A Monk and A Saint, automatically begins. Push the rock after defeating the enemies and exit the cave.

Inspecting the graves won’t advance the quest. What you need to do is enter the cathedral. Climb the cathedral to reach the roof and drop down to get inside the building. Climb the scaffolding and go right to find the spot that allows you to inspect the fresco and learn Saint Mihai’s symbol.

Retrace your steps to the courtyard. Inspect the grave and enter the crypt. Follow the quest marker, go through the gate, and notice the wall you can inspect.

Beware that a fight will begin once you inspect the wall. Defeat Saint Mihai, collect the broken chain, and loot the worn sheath.

How to Find the Three Sword Shards and Complete The Blood of Dawnwalker Forge It Anew Quest

The first part of the Forge It Anew quest has three sub-objectives:

  • Do Not Disturb.
  • Hostile Takeover.
  • Executive Order.

Each sub-objective requires you to search a different location and collect a sword shard.

Do Not Disturb

Head to the quest starting area and inspect the camp in Focus Mode to investigate the campfire, Florin’s Orders note, and the handprint on the rock.

Follow the trail of blood leading to a cave.

Enter the cave and go towards the quest marker to find a sword shard.

Hostile Takeover

Go to the marked location on the map and go through the tunnel.

Defeat the enemy and inspect the nest to loot another The Blood of Dawnwalker Forge It Anew sword shard.

Executive Order

Enter the cave at the marked location and keep going until you reach a large open area with corpses.

Inspect the corpses and read the Soldier’s Letter. Inspect all the other elements to find out what happened in the cave. The sword shard is in an enemy camp and you’ll have to clear it to grab the quest item.

Feel free to release the prisoner after the enemies are dead. Enter the tent at the back of the camp and loot the third sword shard.

How to Repair the Sword of St. Mihai and Unlock the Arbiter’s Blade Trophy

Now that you have the broken sword and the three shards, you can complete the final part of The Blood of Dawnwalker Forge It Anew quest. Head to the marked location to find an uriashi blacksmith.

Hand over the blade shards and the blacksmith will reforge the sword. To complete the final step, you must temper the sword. Go to the marked location to the northwest of the blacksmith and enter the cave.

Make your way through the cave, defeating the enemies you encounter. Go through the double doors to find the ritual spot.

As soon as you start the ritual, several enemies will spawn. Defeat them and interact with the altar once more to complete the quest and unlock the Arbiter’s Blade trophy.
