The Sinking City 2 Obelisk Puzzle is part of the Save the Woman at the Devil’s Reef Hotel objective in Chapter 2. You must solve this puzzle in order to charge the Trident and continue the story. Let’s see what you must do to complete the Obelisk Puzzle!
How to Complete The Sinking City 2 Obelisk Puzzle
To complete the Obelisk Puzzle, you need to find three notes in the church area:
- A Call Upon Believers.
- Notes on the Path.
- The First Vision.
Where to Find the Obelisk Puzzle Clues
The A Call Upon Believers note is on the pulpit inside the church.
Before leaving the church, don’t forget to collect the Origins of the Redemption Church note from the desk at the back of the church. The note contains a clue that will give you the code to unlock the Floodgate lock. Exit the church, turn right, and walk towards the statue. Grab the Star Key from the corpse next to the table with the Floodgate Lock note.
Follow the stairs and go left to find an open window. Enter through the window and collect the Notes on the Path document from the table.
Return to the Star Lock outside and open it using the Star Key.
Collect The First Vision note from the desk.
Open the Investigation panel in the main menu and connect the three clues: A Call Upon Believers, Notes on the Path, and The First Vision. Return to the church, go up the ladder, open the Star Door using the Star Key, and take the Trident.
Go back to the Obelisk Puzzle statue in the churchyard.
Interact with the obelisk and select the Trident. To solve The Sinking City 2 Obelisk Puzzle, you must match the gods and their symbols according to the clues from the Call Upon Believers and The First Vision notes. Starting with the fourth (the one at the bottom) obelisk stone, here is the correct order:
- Cthylla – Splayed Womb.
- Gyrh – Spearhead.
- Tsog Nar – Crooked Cross.
- Yig – Serpent Form.
As soon as you get the right combination, the symbols will start glowing. Wait for the lightning to charge the Trident and get the Lightning-Imbued Trident when prompted.
