Titan Quest 2 Pan is a main story boss you’ll face during The Wild God quest. While he appears helpful at first, your second interaction with him reveals his true plans.

Titan Quest 2 Pan Boss Strategy
Pan is one of the most challenging Titan Quest 2 bosses. He has a large HP pool, meaning that you will have to survive for quite a while if you don’t have the means to do massive damage. Ranged weapons are recommended for this encounter, as you will have to move a lot during the fight. If you prefer a melee approach, weapons such as clubs, axes, and swords work best against him. No matter what weapons and build you are using, understanding the attack patterns is the key to overcoming this challenge. The fight has two phases.
Phase 1
In Phase 1, Pan uses the following attacks:
- Melee Attack. A swinging melee attack using the staff. Move away from the boss.
- Charge. Pan comes at you, leaving a fire AOE in his wake. Move to the sides to dodge.
- Projectiles. The boss shoots three projectiles at you. Run around in a circle and don’t get hit by them.
- Slam. The boss jumps into the air and slams the ground, producing a shock wave that covers the entire arena. Use barrier skills to mitigate damage.
Do your best to avoid and dodge Pan’s attacks. Use ranged attacks and apply burn, poison, or other status effects to inflict passive damage. The boss takes a few seconds to recover after the Charge attack. Use this respite for massive damage. When Pan is around 60% HP, he says “I’ve had enough of you!” and the fight transitions into the second phase.
Pan God the Wild Phase 2
In Phase 2, Pan uses the following attacks:
- Fire AOE Explosion. The boss marks a few locations that erupt, creating a fire AOE. Don’t stand in the fire.
- Wave Attack. Pan sends several purple waves in a cone in front of him. Move away from the boss.
- Fire AOE. The boss casts an AOE spell that sends spreading fireballs in all directions. Move to avoid getting hit.
Pan uses these attacks in addition to all Phase 1 attacks. Periodically, he will buff himself, dealing more damage. The strategy remains the same, but the fight gets more challenging as you have more attacks to deal with. Make a priority out of avoiding the attacks and hit the boss when he takes time to recover.
