Who is the third boss in the game. You face him in the Illburns Ruins. Chester has 700 HP and it’s recommended that you reach at least Level 13 or you’ll have a hard time in this battle. Chester Stoddart’s Attack Pattern
Chester is a really fast boss with a relatively simple attack pattern. He has about five attacks in total. In his most frequent attack, Chester will throw daggers at you in a wide range. To avoid these, after he tosses his first dagger, quickly run to the side and keep running until he stops. In his next attack, Chester will charge up and quickly dash towards you. If he hits you, it’ll deal a good amount of damage. He begins to glow red when charging up this attack, so this is your queue to get ready.
Chester also has a sword that he’ll fight with. In one attack, he’ll charge you with his sword. This powerful attack can do heavy damage. Since you’ll see him coming, this attack is easy to avoid by running away.
After you hit the halfway point, Chester will teleport around the area and attack with his daggers. He’s super fast and hard to hit, so your best bet here is to just keep moving.
Chester also has a defensive move where he’ll create a barrier. This prevents all incoming physical attacks, but you can still use magic attacks. Utilize the Ignis Bracelet here to do fire damage.
How to Defeat Chester Stoddart
To defeat Chester, make sure you’re at Level 13 and have fully leveled up your Armor and Sword. In this battle, utilize your melee weapons as well as your magical attacks like the Ignis Braceful. When Chester does his multi-dagger attack, you can hit him and stop him from throwing daggers while also doing damage. Make sure to leap over him when he changes you and stay on your toes. Use Boost, which unleashes multiple attacks on your enemies, to wear him down.
