Raval Gear is a powerful equipment set in Ys the Oath in Felghana. It has the best attributes, giving Adol an advantage when facing endgame bosses. Let’s see how you can obtain this gear set!
How to Collect All Raval Gear
There are three Ravak Gear pieces:
- Brave Sword.
- Raval Armor.
- Raval Shield.
How to Acquire the Brave Sword
The Brave Sword is in the same column as the Raval Armor and Raval Shield. It is a strong addition to this gear set. Adol obtains it while completing the story campaign. Adol returns to Redmont Tower after clearing the Clock Tower dungeon in Valestein Castle. You go to Edgar’s house, where you talk to Chester, who is waiting in the bedroom. Interact with him, watch the cutscene, and you will obtain the Brave Sword.
How to Acquire the Raval Gear Armor
Go to Genos Island and face Dularn, the Tragic Loyalist in the Dark Shrine dungeon. Continue through the dungeon and you will end up in a chamber with ramps and platforms. Clear the area of all Keratros and Balzarl enemies. Double Jump over the gap and get to the other side. Go up the ramp and defeat the monsters. Notice the hole in the middle. Jump in the hole and you will reach a narrow platform. Make your way through the platforms until you get to a Red Chest guarded by a Skull-Magiste. Defeat it and collect the Raval Armor from the chest.
How to Get the Raval Shield
To obtain the Raval Shield, you need to complete a side quest from Adonis. The item for the shield is in the same place as the Raval Armor. Before making your way to Genos Island, talk to Adonis at the Forge in Redmont Town. You will learn of a smithing technique through which Adonis can make a shield.
Accept the quest and go to the Dark Shrine dungeon. After you collect the Raval Armor, return to the beginning of the platform area. Go straight and you will end up in a room with some Skull-Alnadas, one Skull-Magiste, and two spike traps. Reach the Red Chest in the middle of the platform. Open the chest and collect the Lotus Hammer.
Use fast travel and go to Redmont Town. Return to Adonis with the quest item and he will craft the Raval Shield for you. You also need 1000 Raval Ore to complete the quest and obtain the shield. This shouldn’t be a problem if you cleared all zones and dungeons so far.
You now have all three Raval Gear pieces. Don’t forget to upgrade them to make the set even more powerful.
