How to Find Clair Obscur Optional Boss

You’ll be able to fight Clair Obscur once you get to the Monolith. To be specific, it’s found in the Tainted Lumiere section. The boss is going to be found standing above a stair platform. This boss is completely optional so you can avoid it if you wish but if you want to get some XP and rewards, consider attacking!

There are no weakness or immunities other than Light and Dark so throw whatever you have at Clair Obscur. Another thing you want to keep in mind is some of its moves feature a bit of delay. The trick is not to parry or dodge early. Obscur is weak to Light, whilst Clair is weak to Dark in terms of both of the minions. The boss itself has no weakness or strengths.

Clair Obscur has the following moves:

Clair and Obscur Support sees one of these enemies attacking the player. Pay attention to properly dodge or parry.
Slow Attack is the move where there is a delay. To dodge, wait for two purple flashes to be able to counter. Then dodge right before it swings to you.
Fast Attack is an attack where it hits you with four quick slashes. The final hit is a gradient attack so keep this in mind.
Silencing Combo is a 3-hit slash towards your party. When you see a purple wave dodge and on the last, keep in mind there is a delay. If this hits then your party will be silenced. So consider using a Cleansing Tint
Weakening Strike is a weakening strike is only one hit but if it hits then it will apply powerless or defenseless.

Best way to win is to take out Clair and Obscur enemies first. If you win then you get the Dreameso weapon for Verso, breaking attack picto, resplendent chroma catalyst, and color of lumina.
