How to Romance Ballara in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
In order to romance Ballara, you’ll have to do all her companion quests, which are Echoes of the Past, The Demon’s Bargain, and Hummingbird’s Lament. During these quests, you will have flirtatious dialogue options to choose from to gradually progress the romance. You can also buy Ballara a gift, an Elven Frog Figurine from the Veil Jumper merchant in Arlathan Forest.
Make sure to talk to Ballara frequently in the Lighthouse between quests. You will come across timed interactions that will also progress the romance.
Which Dialogue Options to Choose
To romance someone in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, select the dialogue option with the heart. Below is a list of all the dialogue choices you should pick when trying to romance Ballara.

Important Decisions
To show romantic interest in Ballara, select the dialogue option “It’s not, and I do like you” after the Fire and Ice main quest. You won’t commit to an exclusive romance with Ballara until the Hummingbird’s Lament quest. Speak to Ballara at the Lighthouse and select “I’m sure” to commit to a relationship.
After that, the romance will continue to unfold for the rest of the story.
