Our first available challenges comes at the very start of the chapter, where we can encounter our first Cat and Mouse Hell Fighter ship. From there we are greeted with our first Demonic Essence

Demonic Essence 1

During the Destroy the Hell Carriers task, kill the enemy on the building to access the landing spot. Dismount and complete the combat encounter to get a Demonic Essence Health.

Codex Entry Deag Loric

Progress until you reach the ship where you collect the Cycler weapon. Make your way to the end of the ship, drop down, and follow the path.

Codex Entry The Holy City of Aratum

Progress until you get the Super Shotgun weapon. Enter the corridor and follow the right wall to go outside. Break the chain and use the shield to push the obstacle. Climb and follow the path to reach the secret area. Go to the end of the corridor and take the stair down.

Toy Serrat

From the location of the chain you destroyed to reach The Holy City of Aratum codex, go on the wooden beams. Make a right, drop down, and go back inside. Kill the enemies and follow the path.

The Holy City of Aratum Chapter Collectibles

In this chapter we can also discover our next Nightmare Weapon Skin, this time for the Ravager. Plus toys for Serrat

Ruby 1

Go to corridor that leads to Toy Serrat and make your way down to find the Ruby behind the gate. Notice the chandelier and use the shield on it to activate the pressure plate unlocking the gate.

Demonic Essence 2

Complete the combat encounter near the eastern Hell Carrier objective and you will obtain a Demonic Essence Ammo.

Weapon Skin Ravager – Nightmare Skin

Defeat the enemies near the middle tower to access the landing spot. Enter the tunnel and follow the path to get the Nightmare skin for the Ravager weapon.

Ruby 2

After landing on your way to the weapon skin, activate the pressure pad to discover a latch. Use the shield on it and go in the water. Activate the lever underwater to find another latch. Use the shield and go inside to collect the Red Key. Use the booster pad and unlock the gate.
