Doom the Dark Ages has 28 achievements in total that you can complete during the course of the game. Some of those achievements are ones you get naturally as you go through the game. The Komodo Champion Down Trophy is one of those achievements.

How to Complete the Komodo Champion Down Trophy

The Komodo Champion Down achievement or trophy is one of those trophies that is an automatic story related achievement. This means it literally can’t be missed because if you go through the chapter, you’ll encounter it eventually!

During Chapter 14: Spire of Nerathul this trophy can be completed. It’s the first boss you face at the beginning of the chapter. When you find yourself face to face with the Komodo Demon Champion, don’t panic! It’s a bit intimidating to look at but once you are able to defeat it, you’ll automatically get this trophy.

Defeating a Komodo Demon to earn Komodo Champion Down

The sight of the Komodo Demon, not to be confused with the Komodo Dragon, can be more than a little intimidating. This bulky reptilian demon is well armored with some powerful weapons on its person.

At first glance you wouldn’t think that they are agile, but this would be a bad assumption on your part. They are very agile and can shoot at you from their shoulder turret while running in and out of combat.

One of the best ways to fight it would be to daze it by using parries and the Shield Saw. Follow this advice and you’ll be able successfully defeat this demon. Again, this is a trophy that can’t be missed. Just defeat the Komodo Demon champion and you’ll unlock the Komodo Champion Down! trophy achievement, which is worth either a Silver or 30 GS
