Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flames is a boss in the Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree. He can be found and defeated whilst exploring the Manse Hall. Here is a how you can find and defeat this rather powerful foe!
Where to Find Midra in Elden Ring DLC
To find Midra, begin at the Manse Hall Waypoint. Enter the building through the double doors and go up a set of stairs. There is a large portrait on the left side of the room. Approach it and attack it. Doing this will reveal a hidden doorway. There is an enemy in this hall that you can dodge or attack.
Follow the path to the dining room and go through the door on the left side. Another enemy materializes in this room. Turn right to avoid the enemy and, on the other side of a pillar on your right, is another doorway. Follow this path and you’ll find a lever at the dead end. Pull it. Turn around and go back the way you came. On the other side of that same pillar is a new room with a ladder.
How to Traverse Manse Hall
Take the ladder up to the next level. Enter the room on the left, follow the balcony to the right, and use the next ladder you see. This will take you up to the rafters, which you need to follow. Once you pass the lost grace point, you’ll come across another balcony. Drop down onto the ground. Go through the doorway behind you. If you land in front of the bookshelf when you drop down, then the doorway will be behind the bookshelf. In that room, there will be a very large portrait on the right wall. Attack it and another doorway appears.
Follow the path up the stairs and up a ladder. Pull the lever across from the top of the ladder. Turn to the balcony to the right of the lever and drop down a level. There are multiple enemies in this area. Dodge them to get to the door on the left side of the room and then go up a set of stairs.
Keep following the path, and go through the doorway across from the next lost grace point you discover. Turn right and you’ll see a mist in an archway. Traverse the mist.
How to Defeat Midra Boss In Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC
Now you have finally found Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame. He starts out as a small creature that is easy to defeat so long as you keep your distance. Once he dies, he’ll transform into the real boss. Dodge his waves of madness spells and run away from his melee attacks. Summon your Mimic Tear and, once the boss is focused on it, attack it from behind with spells or long-distance attacks.
Once the Mimic Tear dies, keep up the same dodging and long-distance strategy until you defeat him.
You’re rewarded with 410,000 Runes and Remembrance of the Lord of Frenzied Flame.
